Hi there, @Loco30. 👋

Thanks so much for posting about this.

Looks like you're a Plus subscriber. I do see that you've enabled the complimentary sessions of Premium. However, these sessions are limited and you wouldn't be able to listen to your playlist offline continuously.

At this time, Pandora Plus listeners cannot add, delete or swap out which stations will be available for offline listening. Alternatively, you may consider upgrading to Pandora Premium which allows subscribers to download any station, playlist, album or song in their collection for offline listening. Since this is only an option with Premium, this explains why you're having trouble - as your complimentary session ends before you can actually download.

If you're attempting to download a station (not a playlist) for offline listening, please let me know.

Hope this info is helpful. 🎧

Thank so much for the response!  I have always been a plus member and abel to download my Playlist from jump,  but I can't any longer.   Is this something that was changed recently or did I just got lucky?

@Loco30 Thanks for getting back to me.

You should be able to download your offline stations with Plus. However, it sounds like your Premium session is ending before you can fully download the playlist for offline listening.

There's a natural tension between valuable ad space and the listening experience. Because of that, we're actively testing the length of these sessions to provide the best listening experience for everyone. As a result, the average length and availability of your complimentary session may fluctuate. Due to licensing restrictions, we also have to limit the number of Premium Access sessions per person.

I understand that this can be frustrating. If you'd like to see longer Premium Access sessions, you can definitely create a feature suggestion here.

@Loco30 Is it possible that this might be occurring because there is not enough storage on your device? Pandora will never use the last 500MB of storage on your device, so we will only download as many stations as we can before we hit that limit.

If it doesn't appear to be storage related, I'd recommend disabling the offline listening feature and re-enabling it, which will reset the download process. Then, make sure to keep Pandora in the foreground of your device while the download completes.

To do that from a mobile device:

  1. Tap the Profile tab and then the Settings gear in the top right corner.
  2. Toggle Offline Mode off, and confirm that you'd like to remove the content from your device.
  3. Toggle Offline Mode on again, to reset the download process.
  4. Keep the Pandora app in the foreground of your device while your offline stations re-download.

If you continue to have trouble, please send over a screenshot showing the status of the downloads:

  1. Tap the Profile tab and then the Settings gear in the top right corner.
  2. Next select Offline. You should now be able to view a progress bar indicating the current download status.
  3. Take a screenshot of what you see here and attach it to your direct reply to this email.

Let me know how it goes.
