Android Auto: Stuck in Offline Mode after 2510.1.1

Still having oflin issues. Uninstall, reboot, Bluetooth on and off. Doesn't work.

Not as often, but there are times I loose access and Pandora tells me I’m offline when I shouldn’t be

2023 Chevy Bolt EUV & 2023 KIA Sportage. Android 16. T-Mobile - Pandora constantly goes offline - Sirius & Amazon Music have no such issues. I will not renew my annual subscription if this is not fixed. I'm on Pandora version 2510.1.1 (android tuner 25101104

Still having issues with the 2601.1 . The only way to fix it is to pull over and reboot S25 plus phone. It doesn't matter if it is connected by Bluetooth or USB.

Sorry to hear you're still having trouble. I know Offline Mode issues can be frustrating.

I just want to make sure I’m understanding your experience correctly. Are you finding that Pandora is stuck in Offline Mode all the time and won’t switch back to Online Mode? Or does it switch to Offline Mode while you’re traveling in your vehicle? 

I ask because those are two different situations:

If Pandora is completely stuck in Offline Mode and you’re unable to switch back to Online Mode, for example, turning the Offline Mode toggle off doesn’t work, that’s the issue being discussed in this thread.

If you're listening online, and Pandora transitions to Offline Mode, like while you’re driving, that can be expected behavior when the app detects a weak or lost network connection. 

In these cases, iPandora will transition offline and select offline content to play to keep the music going. However, once the connection has been re-established it won’t automatically jump back to what was streaming before, you’d need to manually select a new station, playlist, or album to resume your previous listening.

Please note in either case, offline experience are related to the mobile device versus the vehicle.

In your experience, when Pandora switch to Offline Mode, do you receive a notification that you’ve gone offline, and then you’re unable to switch back to Online Mode later? Thanks for sharing any additional details about your experience.

I still have the issue as well - only in the car. I followed all the steps provided by customer support but Pandora still goes offline (I never see a notification other than the ofln note) and does not return to online mode. I can still listen to other online content when this happens. I will try selecting other contect to see if that returns me to online mode.

My 2022 Volvo was just updated with its new Android Automotive 5.05 operating system.  It was a clean install.  Cash and files were all deleted before the install by the dealer.  I loaded the latest Pandora app, all seemed to be well until I parked in out condo's parking garage and lost Cell Connection.  When I came back to start the car I received a message that I was off-line and Pandora would play downloaded music.  I did not have any downloaded music and the buffering icon just kept spinning and spinning.  I could not access anything in the app, everything froze.  Exited the app and turned on the radio and then re-opened the Pandora app but it was still frozen.  I even turned off the car and restarted but the app was still frozen.  I had to delete the app completely and reload it including re-logging into the app.  It worked until it once again lot Cell service and froze.  Had to reinstall once again.  I'm now trying to remember to switch off Pandora and start my radio before entering a garage or other locations with out Cell service.  BTW I believe Volvo mobile carrier is  AT&T.  I'm not having this problem with other Streaming apps like Spotify or Tidal.

Any other suggestions?

I have the same problem as Larry. I have. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado. I have done the same steps with deleting and reloading from the google/android store but no luck. Even had the GM/Onstar team reboot my system. Works one time and as soon as you turn the vehicle off and turn it back on it will finish the song that was playing then just gets stuck spinning. 

My system is model: gminfo37. Android version 12.
