Automotive-Android: Multiple issues when connecting to vehicle

It doesn't matter what vehicle it is when I get out and shut the vehicle off the music starts playing on my phone. Also, when I go to skip or replay the display will go gray and unresponsive. I have to restart my phone to get Pandora to work again

And when the music starts playing on my phone I have to shut the app off I have to close out of the app to get the music to stop because none of the buttons are responsive

Ha.. good luck getting any kind of fix. I've been having this issue since Oct, same as thousands of others, and there's no update at all. Only "we will forward this to the appropriate team to look into it!" and then crickets. I'm at a loss for words. I've had Pandora for 12 years, it's nearly impossible to switch apps at this point.
