CarPlay - No sound

I’m using iPhone SE software version 14.8 in my car. I can start a Pandora playlist using Apple CarPlay, but many times on the 3rd or 4th track the sounds cuts out. It looks like the song is playing but there is no sound. If I advance to the next track the sound comes back. Any idea on how to correct so I get sound on all tracks? Thanks.

How are you connected to CarPlay, USB or Bluetooth?

What version of Pandora is your iPhone on? You can find the Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen).

Does this happen when connected to other device or on your phone when not connected to a device?
