Won't play through Android Auto

Car: 2026 Honda Civic
Phone: OnePlus 15

OS: OxygenOS 16.0.5 (CPH2749_16.0.5.703(EX01))

Android version: 16

When connected to Android Auto, play button does nothing. It'll quickly flash to the pause button and back to play but the song does not start playing. It works fine when I play through the phone itself. This was working fine for about 6 weeks before it stopped working 3 days ago.

I've tried:
Making sure phone was up to date
Cleared Pandora data and cache in Android settings

Reinstalled Pandora

Allowed background activity in the app battery settings

Re-paired the phone to the car stereo

Sorry you’ve been running into this with Android Auto. I’ve passed your experience along to our engineering team so they can take a closer look on their side.

When you get a chance, could you also share which version of the Android Auto app you currently have installed?
