Arson's Recommended Rap Song

Basing this thread off of gsotd and daily rock songs, I've decided to do daily rap songs! Today's rap song is going to be Institutionalized (feat. Bilal, Anna Wise  & Snoop Dog) by: Kendrick Lamar. This song is from my favorite album ever, To Pimp a Butterfly. It is a masterpiece which won the 2014 Grammy for Best Rap Album. Enjoy this thread of recommendations!!!! 💙

For today's daily rap song, I am recommending Mortal Man by: Kendrick Lamar. This song is from the same album as last song and has a very interesting interview between Kendrick and Tupac Shakur, better known as 2Pac. It's a long listen at 12 minutes, but worth every second.

Today's daily rap song will be a change up from the last ones, being more modern hip hop. Today's song is Armed and Dangerous by King Von. It presents an interesting viewpoint into Von's life of crime and is a really good song in my opinion. It may not be y'alls vibes, but I like it. Give it a listen, but be warned it's not popular among older folks and any other genres fans. The other songs could attract a funk fan with an open mind about lyricism, but this song definitely couldn't haha.  😅 Enjoy this track!

Yall I am so sorry I've been on a temporary hiatus. I just started a new schedule at my job and have been working a lot more. Today's daily rap song is from Bªstard by Tyler the Creator. It's called Odd Toddlers. Odd name, but an amazing song, I'd definitely keep an open mind with this one, but try it out it's an awesome song.

Agree to disagree that 2pac is better than kendrick. Pac is kinda overrated honestly. This isn't me saying he isn't a top tier rapper, but I think that the rose tinted nostalgia glasses need to be taken off for this opinion. Today's "daily" rap song is Save the Children by: Joey Bada$$. I honestly don't know how to articulate the meaning of this song, but the lyricism is AWESOME!! Give it a listen 🎶

Guess I better change the title of this thread to Randomly Dispersed Rap Song 😂 

Today's song is Johnny P's Caddy by Benny the Butcher ft J Cole. It sounds more of a spoken word style than really singing/ holding a melody. Benny and Cole's lyricism in this song is really good and their rhymes flow with the best very easily. Enjoy the listen!
