What an excellent topic. When I'm watching a movie or show, I frequently have the Shazam app open, especially if there's a terrific score! I've discovered so much wonderful music through TV and movies.

There are so many to choose from, but here are a few of my favorite theme songs from TV shows that are instantly recognizable to me: 

Cold Little Heart by Michael Kiwanuka (HBO's Big Little Lies)

I was totally a Disney kid and there were some great opening songs for their tv shows. One of my favorites is: The Proud Family Theme Song by Solange (Disney's The Proud Family) 

I Don't Want to Wait by Paula Cole (Dawson's Creek)
