I have the premium subscription. yet, it keeps asking me to join. I already paid for this and I am sorry that I did. When I try to hear a song, a POPUP comes up and say, listen to a short message. When you click it it says, OPPs something went wrong. Try again later. I guess that I will just chalk this up to Lessons Learned!!

This problem just recently started for me. When I try to listen to a song and it says to watch an ad first the ad won't play. So since the ad won't play the song won't play either and I can't listen to it.

Does this happen when using all browsers on your computer, or just one?
If just one, which browser are you using?
Let me know.
Hi folks. So, for months now, when logged in as a free user, if I try to play a track - any track - I get prompted to "watch an add", which is fine. BUT, when I agree to that, I get the message: "Oops, something went wrong. Try agan later". As I said, this has now been going on for MONTHS. I have NEVER been able to listen to a single thing. Of course this is a massive turn-off when contemplating the possibility of a paid subscription! If Pandora can't get this right there is no way in hell I am upgrading!

Can you please move the post back again. It has nothing to do with Pandora Premium. Nothing.
So. Thanks to the various folks who have replied to this. It is not appropriate that this post was moved to the "Desktop: Unable to start Premium Access session" as that has absolutely nothing to do with the issue. The only respondent who posted anything useful was the person who asked whether it was browser-specific. The problem is the same across all browsers I have tried (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). I am logged in and I try to play ANY track. This is what I get as a message: "Oops! Something has gone wrong. Please try again later.". It never changes, and I have never been able to listen to anything at all. Pandora is a complete fail for me!

@wgkempster1 You mentioned you receive an error message when you attempt to watch an ad in order to play a track on demand.
When watching an ad, what you are actually doing is starting a Pandora Premium Access session. With the free service, the only way to listen to music on demand is by enabling these free sessions.
This being said, it doesn't sound like you are actually able to start a new session due to the error message that appears.
Can you please let me know what browser you are using when that error message appears?
Thanks for working with me on this.
Happens in all browser I have tried (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). Cann't ever get past this.
{"message":"auth token has been invalidated","errorCode":1001,"errorString":"INVALID_REQUEST"}
That is how dysfunctional Pandora is!

Just confirming. The problem remains. This is what I get EVERY TIME in EVERY BROWSER!!
For me, it's the ads that are supposed to play when you try and initiate a Premium Access session to play music on demand. I am on Microsoft edge, on a lenovo.
My other lenovo I use Google chrome on, and it occasionally does the same thing.
