Edge -Steals my cursor after every song

LH6

It just started this week, but if I use Edge, after each song or commercial my cursor jumps to edge and keeps typing.  I'm trying to work and it's really not working at all.  I had to switch browsers.  Anyone else having this issue?

Hi @LH6 , welcome to the Pandora Community!

Thanks for posting! Sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing on Edge.

So to confirm, this doesn't happen on other browsers correct?

Can you tell me more about what's happening?

  1. Are you listening from a Mac or Windows computer?
  2. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
  3. If possible, can you send a screenshot of what you're seeing? (If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, just let me know and I'll be happy to provide you with some additional steps.)

In the meantime, try opening an InPrivate Window. If it works there, the issue may be caused by a browser setting or extension.

Also please give a try to the other steps described here.

Let me know how it goes.

i listen with the window minimized because i am working.  this last week or so the window it is in pops up after every song or commercial and focuses the cursor to it, very annoying.  I will have to not use this platform if it isn't put back the way it was. I haven't changed any of my settings and my browser hasn't had any updates recently.

Hi @MetalMaven , welcome to the Pandora community!

Thanks for posting about this, to keep things tidy I merged your comments to this thread

I'm glad to hear that it is working on a different browser. I’ve enabled a trace on your account to help us further review and investigate. When you have a moment, please try the steps below and let us know if you’re still experiencing any issues.

If you're having trouble with Pandora on Edge, try opening an InPrivate Window. If it works there, the issue may be caused by a browser setting or extension.

To troubleshoot Pandora on Edge:

  • Update Edge to the latest version.
  • Clear Browsing Data (history, cache, and cookies).
  • Confirm you are accepting cookies from Pandora.
  • Turn off extensions like Disable HTML5 Autoplay, Adblock, and NoScript, or allow www.pandora.com within them.
  • Make sure you're allowing Pandora to automatically play sound.
  • Check VPN settings to ensure Pandora isn’t blocked.
  • Try a different browser like Google Chrome.
  • Restart your computer and try Pandora again.

Let me know if you need further assistance.
