I have the same issue as everyone else. Every day when I log in to my PC (Windows 10 Pro on my HP EliteBook 850 G7 Notebook PC) it starts on the same station that I haven't listened to recently. Up until recently, it ALWAYS opened playing the last station I listened to. Something has changed within Pandora to create this, it didn't just start happening on it's own.
I pay $4.99 a month for no commercials. I should think that since I'm a paying customer, everything would be solid. Please advise what has changed within Pandora to create this issue.
Bummed,
Michelle

Hi @mcb_1969 👋
Welcome to the Community and thank you for your first post! 🎉
I moved your original thread onto the Desktop space since this issue is happening on your PC.
If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
If you are using a Bookmark, keep in mind, the URL address should only be www.Pandora.com, as opposed to https://www.pandora.com/artist/abba (or something else of that nature).
Let me know, looking forward to your response! 🎧
Late 2024 here. This has been happening on my desktop for months now. It's a little annoying but not a real problem. It does seem like a weird glitch in the modern day, though.
@thomaswords I moved your post over to this existing thread: Web: Opens to Same Default Station instead of Last Station Listened to
It sounds like you may need to check the bookmark that you use to access Pandora.
It should only be: https://www.pandora.com
If there is anything added onto to it (e.g., https://www.pandora.com/#/genres/top), then erase that. That is most likely the problem.
Let me know if this helps.
Thank you for your reply and for moving this to an appropriate thread.
I can't make this work. The instant Pandora is opened it begins to play, no matter how my preferences are set. I have bookmarked the clean URL and it's the only bookmark I've ever had for Pandora.
Thank you,
T
Thanks for telling us @thomaswords.
Are you listening from:
- A Mac or Windows computer?
- Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from the website, what browser are you using?
Also can you tell me what happens when you write the web address directly (www.pandora.com) ? Does it happens the same as when you use the bookmark?
Let us know.
I'm on a PC. When I type that URL into the browser, the last station that plays now opens. Up until now, it was always the same station playing no matter what was on when I last listened. I think it might be as simple as shutting off the autoplay now. This is a very recent development.
Hi @thomaswords , thanks for explaining.
I'm glad to hear it seems to be working now.
Please let us know if you have this issue again.
