I’m unable to add the band Countless Skies to my station Disarmonia Mundi Radio. The ‘add artist variety’ search fails to find the band. However, the band can be found in the home screen search and doesn’t allow me to add it to my station. I’d rather not create a whole new station just to incorporate the one band. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

@Cliffrock84 To clarify, is this the artist you are unable to add as variety to your station:
Let me know.
Yep, that’s the correct artist!

I'm having the same issue with another artist. The post says the issue is solved but doesn't mention how to fix it.
The artist: Sorry
Thanks.
Hi @InnsmouthBear , welcome to our Community!
It seems like we have several pieces of content named as the Artist you want to add on our collection that may be interferring with you finding the Artist Sorry when trying to add variety.
Considering this, I would recommend you search for something more specific, like the name of a song to add it instead. So instead of searching for "Sorry", you can search for something like "Right Round the Clock" and it should pop at the top of the options.
However, if you want a station that specifically contains the Artist "Sorry", I would recommend you to start a station from that artist and then add the other artists as variety since it may be easier to find them between the options than "Sorry".
Hope this helps.
Is there no way to filter what type of search I'm doing when adding an artist? It mixes artists and songs when trying to do so while when setting up a station you can limit the search to just artists. I tried adding "band" and "artist" to my search and that only made the options worse. Additionally, there seems to be a limit on how many options it shows you as when I do the search at a certain point it just starts repeating results.
@InnsmouthBear There currently is not a way to filter your search results when adding variety to your station.
I've gone ahead and passed your feedback along to our curation team regarding not being able to add that artist to your station due to issues with the search functionality.
In the meantime, some options for you that I recommend would be to:
I hope this helps!
I'm trying to add artists to a station but when I search for the artist Lifetime, all I get songs. I've been scrolling forever but only songs are displayed. Is there a what to search only for artists? I tried searching for artist:lifetime which gives nothing and artist=lifetime, which lists songs (not artists) with artist and/or lifetime in the title.
@SarahRogue To clarify, is this the artist you are unable to add as variety to your station?: Lifetime
If not, can you please send me a link to their page on Pandora?
Thanks for working with me on this.
@AdamPandora Yes, that is the artist but, in the Station's Find an artist or song to add to this station search box, when I type Lifetime, I cannot find the artist or even songs by the artist - just songs with "lifetime" in the title.
If I could filter by artist or search for something like "artist:Lifetime", it would work but neither of those features are available. Even copying and pasting the link to the artist doesn't find the band. Also, on the Lifetime artist page, I can add to a Playlist but not add to a Station. So, there are plenty of ways to add this feature - but, right now, I am unable to add them to my station.
@SarahRogue I've escalated your feedback to our curation team for further review.
In the meantime, I recommend adding one of their tracks as variety to your station instead.
For example, when adding variety, use this search term: Young, Loud, And Scotty by Lifetime
Hope this helps, and thank you for reporting.
