Alphabetizing songs within a playlist

Is there a way to alphabetize all the songs in a playlist?  I'm finding I'm adding songs double because they are showing up at the bottom of the list, or somewhere else random, and I'm scrolling past them since they aren't where it makes most sense... Thanks!

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to sort tracks alphabetically within your playlist at this time.

Feel free to upvote / comment on this existing idea for more sorting options for Premium listeners.

I don't understand why there isn't an option to alphabetize your songs within playlists but even more so why it should be something that needs to be voted on in order to make it possible. These are the things that make Pandora stay current and not loose out to Spotify or any other music platform.

PLEASE add ability to alphabetize songs in playlist! I am adding duplicate songs as well because they aren’t alphabetized and I don’t know I have them already. thanks for your consideration!

almost three years since this was suggested and still no ability to sort within a playlist. truly bizarre why this can't be done.

It's been years since listeners have asked for this simple feature to avoid having duplicate songs and nothing.  How about a feature that says "duplicate" song before adding it to the playlist while using Pandora on a PC?   I am a paid subscriber, that would make a nice incentive for those who use Pandora for free to switch to the paid version.  Three years now.

It would be amazing to be able to sort tracks within a playlist by different parameters. Not just alphabetically by title.  

Hey, Cherokeke! When I select a track to add to a playlist, I get a msg letting me know whether it's already in the list & I can "cancel" my request. Have you seen that feature since posting? I still "upvoted" for being able to alphabetize our tracks within playlists 😊✨

I can't even sort alphabetically at all. How do you do this? I do not get that message. Did you do something different? Maybe from desktop computer? I know I have several that are duplicates. I hate that I pay for pandora and can't get it.

Hello Misty,

     There isn't a feature, as I understand, that will let you sort with one click.  However, you can manually sort your tracks by going into "edit" mode of the playlist and grabbing the track you want to reposition at the three horizontal lines on the right and dragging the track into the spot you want it.  Be sure to "save" before navigating out of "edit" mode! I didn't and had to start over. I just did that with a playlist.  It's a bit tedious but I did it while watching a show. 😁 

I only use Pandora on my phone.  When I select a song to add to a play list, then select the playlist I want, I get one of two messages.  One "This song has already been added" and gives me the option to either "CANCEL" or "ADD ANYWAY".  The other message says "Song added to playlist".  If you aren't getting that, you'll have to reach out for help with your account, maybe?

@mistinemarie The notification to prevent duplicate songs on the same playlist should pop up if you are using your phone. If the notification isn't popping up, then it's possible you are adding an alternate version of the same track to your playlist. Artists/bands sometimes release the same song on multiple albums (ex: remastered albums/tracks).

It's definitely in the phone app, unfortunately I often use Pandora on my computer and that's where I don't receive a notice that it is already in the playlist.  It's not a difficult fix but they won't take the time.  😞
