I created 2 Playlists now I have 20. Pandora seems to think I need more...
Hi @theindian279 , thanks for posting.
Yes, you can delete any unwanted playlist.
To delete a playlist from your Pandora app, go to My Collection and tap the name of the playlist you'd like to delete. This will bring you to your playlist settings.
Next, tap the Edit icon below the album art, scroll down and select Delete Playlist.*
To delete a playlist from our website, click the title of the playlist from the Now Playing or My Collection page. Then hover over the check mark below the album art and click Delete Playlist.*
*Please note that you won't be able to recover a deleted playlist on your end at this time. If you accidentally delete a playlist, let us know and we can help restore it for you.
I need help deleting unwanted playlists from IOS and ROKU
These playlists do not exist on Pandora.com, only on my iPhone, and on ROKU. I tried every method Gemini could think of. Nothing worked.
There are six of these unwanted lists, each with only about four songs on them. Neither the interface on the iPhone nor on ROKU will allow me to delete them. Again, these lists do not exist on Pandora.com.
I have tried deleting Pandora from my iPhone and reinstalling it. I tried to delete Pandora from ROKU, but was unable to do so. (Once again, even Gemini was of no help.)
So here I am. Does a solution exist?
I have been struggling with the same problem for YEARS.
Hi @MusicFan1009 , thanks for posting!
I'm happy to help you with this.
Can you please let me know the names of the list you want to delete?
Let me know!

Hi Maria!
The lists are: "Smooth Jazz Instrumentals Radio", "Smooth Jazz All Stars Radio Thumbs Up", "Eric Clapton Radio Thumbs Up", "Blackfoot Radio Thumbs Up", "John Coltrane Radio Thumbs Up", and "Texas Blues Radio Thumbs Up".
I will love you forever if you can rid me of these turkeys!
@MusicFan1009 Thanks for following up.
I was able to remove the requested station and playlists from your collection.
I hope this helps!
Thank you SO MUCH. "Smooth Jazz All Stars Radio Thumbs Up" is still there, but you killed all the rest of them, I don't know how but you did it!
I usually listen to Pandora on TV using a ROKU streambar. I *think* the streambar creates these "thumbs up" playlists any time you "thumb up" a track, whether you want it to or not, and then won't let you delete the playlist it created. Can you confirm my suspicion on this? In any case, I NEVER "thumb up" anything that comes through that ROKU device anymore. Thanks again!
@MusicFan1009 Sorry I might have missed that one.
I was able to remove Smooth Jazz All Stars Radio Thumbs Up from your collection.
Additionally, I'm happy to provide some additional context around how these playlists are added to your collection.
After you have thumbed up enough songs on any given station you've created, we'll automatically generate a "Thumbs Up" playlist for that station. In other words, we'll collect your thumbs up from that station into a unique playlist, so you can access all of your favorite tracks whenever you want.
You can also delete your automatically generated playlist altogether. After opening the playlist you want to delete, tap the Edit icon, scroll down and select Delete Playlist.
Let me know if you have additional questions.
Thanks Adam! I can't prove it now, of course, but I've been trying for years to make those unwanted, unasked-for lists to go away. Nothing was working.
Just for the record, it would be SUPER nice if Pandora would just stop doing that. Just my .02 cents! Meantime, I will never use the "thumbs up" feature under any circumstances. Thanks again Adam, very much appreciated!!!
