Ever since I got pandora, the playlist system hasn't worked very well. Common issues include

@Rxnin Sorry for the delay in our reply.
It sounds like both of the issues you reported are related.
To resolve the issue you are experiencing with deleted tracks re-appearing on your playlists, can you please try signing out of the Pandora app on your mobile device, and then signing back in?
If that resolves the issue, you won’t need to create new playlists as a work around anymore — which should also take care of the second problem with old playlists still playing through Alexa.
Let me know how it goes.
it seems to have worked, but now the old playlists are still in my recent favorites which means they haven't been actually deleted and I can find them in the search bar.

So your playlist or in general anything you play will continue to appear on the recently played carrousel, but as you get playing new things, they will eventually be replaced.
Now regarding about the lists appearing when searching, is it possible that these playlists may have been set as public?

I don't know how to set playlists on public or private, I just want them to be deleted except for the first one.
I've created a new playlist to replace the old one with all of the songs more organized since we STILL don't have a playlist sorter, and would just request that all other playlists by the name of Everything be deleted. I don't know if you can do that from your end but please it's so annoying.

All the "Everything" Playlists have been deleted except the most recent version.
Please check on My Collection > Playlists and let me know if it is the correct one or if you see any of the other versions there.

my new playlist is called Arsons Collection. the everything playlists are still showing up in the search bar by the song counts of 163 168 172 176 and 180. Current playlist and the one ill be using from now on is called arsons collection and has around 165 songs, the most recent song added is called thread, stitch by Julie. thanks for all your help

I am usually adding them from the now playing screen yes, and I've never been able to send pictures on my phone.
update: if I select the previously deleted playlist I can edit it again but if I delete it it just does the same thing.

Please try again and let me know if the deleted playlists still appear in search when on your Android device.
it still shows them in recent favorites but not in the search bar. Baby steps 😁
