I can't delete song from playlist

hectorcortez199

I'm on android and have a playlist with 184 songs. When I tap and slide from the 3 dots to remove a song, it's "removed". However, when I play songs on my playlist, it's still there.

I've also gone to edit and deleted multiple songs that way, but regardless my playlist is locked on 184 songs. Everything I deleted is still there. Please help me find a solution.

@hectorcortez199 Nice to see you around the Community.

To clarify, does this only happen when you attempt to delete tracks from a playlist when streaming Pandora on your phone?

Are you able to reproduce this issue when streaming Pandora on a computer as well?

Lastly, are you unable to delete tracks from all playlists, or only one?

Let me know.

I'm able to delete from another playlist, but not this one. I haven't tried it on a computer yet.

Thanks for following up, @hectorcortez199.

What is the name of the playlist you are unable to remove tracks from?

Also, what is the names of some of the tracks that you've deleted in the past, but they still remain on the playlist?

Let me know.

@Kjwatson41 Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening?

Are you unable to delete tracks from all playlists, or only one?

If only one, what is the name of the playlist you are unable to remove tracks from?

Also, what is the names of some of the tracks that you've deleted in the past, but they still remain on the playlist?

Lastly, are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?

  1. If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
    • A Mac or Windows computer?
    • Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
  2. If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
  3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
  4. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝

@Kjwatson41 Unfortunately, there isn't a way to upload a video through a reply on the Community.

To clarify, is the issue that after you edit your playlist and delete tracks, they never actually get removed from the playlist?

If so, I recommend running through the following troubleshooting steps: Troubleshooting for iOS Devices

If that does not resolve the issue, I would like to report your feedback to our engineers. Could you tell me more about your device?

  • Device & Generation: iPhones 6s plus
  • Carrier:
  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?

Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?

Thanks for your help with this.

Support should not be asking what platform you're on... you cannot delete playlist nor tracks in ALL platforms. They know the interface is buggy but refuse to address very simple tasks.

If you add it... you should also be able to remove/delete it!

Get it together, PANDORA. This is the most ridiculous conversation. And we've been asking this since 2020

@drexel2632 You should be able to remove a playlist from your collection, as well as remove individual tracks from one of your created playlists.

Can you please send me a screenshot of what you see when you attempt to do so?

(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)

Thanks for working with me on this.
