RESOLVED 7/11/25: Amazon Service Disruption 7/10/25

I've had a Pandora account for ages and play it routinely at home on my Amazon Alexa devices. It abruptly stopped playing this afternoon (10 July 2025). Now, when I tell Alexa to play Pandora, it tells me, "To listen to Pandora, go to the Alexa mobile app and link your account." When I go to the mobile app and click the Pandora Skill, it says, "You've reached the end of Alexa's knowledge. Just kidding. This skill no longer exists. Click here to go back." Please tell me that Pandora still works with Alexa! What's going on? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Alexa app on my phone, but nothing changed.

Why monitoring and not fixing. Would it not be better if the team was fixing the issue instead of watching it happen?

Hi @Yalexanowork

This issue is stemming from a service disruption on Amazon’s side, which is affecting multiple streaming services — not just Pandora. Since the problem isn't within our systems, it's not something we can resolve directly.

We're monitoring the situation to stay informed, but resolution will need to come from Amazon. We'll post an update once they confirm it's been fixed.

It's working again. I was really worried that there was a decision by someone to sever compatibility. So glad that it was just a service disruption!
