What options are available out there on the market that are alternative to say a smartphone? So if I wanted to have a portable device that that's not a smartphone and doesn't have a screen but still play pandora. Suggestions?
Hi @Wetherjc3
Thanks for sharing your question about using Pandora without a smartphone.
Pandora does require an active internet connection to stream music, so any device you use would need some way to connect to the internet, whether that’s Wi-Fi or cellular data.
In general, the Pandora app is designed to run on supported platforms like smartphones, tablets, computers, and certain connected devices (for example, some in-home systems, smart speakers, or in-car integrations). Each of these implementations still relies on either Wi-Fi or mobile data to access your account and stream music.
While I can't provide recommendations for specific hardware, the key requirement is that the device must support Pandora’s app or integration and be able to maintain a stable internet connection. You can check out all the ways to listen to Pandora by visiting https://pandora.com/everywhere.
I hope this helps in your search for an alternative way to listen.
