Thanks for the post, @archon810!

WearOS is back! You can install through the app store.

Make sure to have your phone near your Wear OS device, as it's required for the activation process.

  1. Press the Power button while your watch is awake to go to your list of apps. Scroll down to open the Play Store.
  2. Search for Pandora and tap Install.
  3. Open Pandora after the installation is complete.
  4. Select Login from the watch face and you'll receive a notification on your phone that will allow you to log in or create a new account.
  5. Follow the prompts on your phone to complete the setup process. Afterwards, your stations should appear on your watch.

Agreed, this is a little silly in 2022, especially given how little it would have cost to have simply maintained the existing WearOS app. I've been a paying subscriber for a decade (since December 2012), and at this point I'll most likely just bite the bullet and migrate to Spotify rather than continue waiting around for this.

Edit: Well I was able to sync most of my data to Spotify via a third-party service called Soundiiz, but I can't switch over entirely because Spotify is missing a bunch of features that I rely on in Pandora. Guess I'm just stuck paying for both + Soundiiz for the time being ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ.

Why the hell don't you fix your app. It's been years and it's so annoying

Is Pandora ever going to be compatible with WearOS? If not then I will be forced to witch to Spotify.

It's been years. Again, surprised to see no Pandora. It was the most glaring absence when I went to install my standard set of apps.

Seems kinda sad Pandora would just let people with smart watches walk away to Spotify ..
