Xfinity: Using voice commands plays last station instead of requested

Pandora has apparently fixed the freezing problem but now the voice commands on Xfinity don't work. If I ask for "Eagles on Pandora" on Xfinity remote, Pandora starts up but plays the last station that it played not the one I asked for. And yes I have rebooted both the Xfinity box and restarted the Pandora app. Xfinity interprets my voice command correctly so my guess is that the problem is again in Pandora's corner.

Hi @nedh
Thanks for posting your latest experience.
Since this is separate issue from the previous playback stopping, I've created a new post for you. I've gone ahead and let our engineering team know about this so that they can review what may be happening.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

Welcome to community!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with voice commands on your Xfinity box. An internal ticket has been created to investigate. I've let the engineering team know you're having trouble. The Moderation team will post updates in this thread as it is made available to us. Thank you for your patience in the meantime!

It's been over 5 week now. Is Pandora's support so bad that it takes this long to handle a simple issue.

Hi @nedh
Sorry for the delay.
I've reached out to our engineering team for an update. Unfortunately, they have not been able to replicate this issue on their end. As a result, we've not been able to release a fix. However, they continue to investigate what may be happening. It may take us some time and effort across teams to investigate, so I'm not able to provide a specific timeline. In the meantime, since this experience occurs when using the Xfinity remote with voice commands we recommend reaching out to Xfinity Support for additional troubleshooting steps for their device that may not be available to us.
Thank you for your continued patience.
