Yamaha: MusicCast app error message 'Unable to register your system'

I have a RX-A1070 and I can not log in to my Pandora account with MusicCast. I have reset my amp and removed my account from the app. Now I get an error "Unable to register your system"

Please help.

I've removed the connection, when it takes affect you'll automatically be logged out.

It has disconnected again !!! Can you please reset and add the option to do
this ourselves. This is becoming very annoying! I am sorry to sound harsh
but I want to listen to Pandora when I want to not have to call you
for a reset all the time.

Hi @Chris2699,

I've removed the Yamaha connection from your account. To confirm, you continue to receive the "Access Error" message on your Yamaha device? If so, I would also recommend rebooting your network connection by power cycling your modem and router.

Alternatively, you can log out of all devices on your end using a computer with the following steps:

  • From a web browser, log into your Pandora account.
  • Click on your Profile in the top right corner of the page and then select Settings.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Log out of all other devices.
  • Enter your password and press Log Out.
  • Remember to sign out of your account once you’re finished if you’re not using a personal computer.

*Keep in mind that it may take some time before the change will reflect on your other devices.

I can not access my account anymore. It says that I do not have an account.
Please tell me that you did not just lose years of thumbs up and radio
stations that I had since my first log in.

No changes to your Pandora account have been made from our end other than removing the Yamaha device connection per your request.

Can you tell me a little more about your experience.

You gave me instructions on logging out and logging back in. I did that and
when I tried to log back in it said my password did not work. So, I did a
password reset and it said that my account did not exist anymore. So I
tried an old account and it did the same . So all my thumbs ups are lost
and all my stations are gone. SO instead of trying to communicate after
several failed attempts to get a reply from you I just recreated my
account. If you can restore my account that would be great. but
according to the community deleted accounts cannot be restored.

Hey @Chris2699! - I passed your account over to our engineering to look into this deeper. Turns out your original account had a typo in the email. This is why it didn't show up when you tried to log back in.

You can log out of all other devices from a computer by:

  • Clicking on your Profile in the top right corner of the page and then selecting Settings.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Log out of all other devices.
  • Enter your password and then Log out.

Keep in mind that it may take some time before the change will reflect on your other devices. 

If you'd prefer not to do this, I can remove the device on my end. Let me know.

I have issue with not being able to register Pandora. This is a very glitchy system.

Hi @captjustinmille! Welcome to community!

Can you confirm you're receiving the same error message - 'Unable to register your system' - or a different error?

In the meantime, I've tried to look up your Pandora account, but it doesn't appear to be listed under the email address associated with your community profile.

Have you changed your email recently? If so, let me know and I'll message you privately to get your new email address. Please do not post your email on community.
