Pandora Premium Reception

I used to be able to drive the entire distance from southern Arizona to northern Montana without an interruption in music on my app on an iPhone. I've done the run more than once when there was no interruption in areas with no cell service (on that run, there are many such areas), making me satisfied with my Premium subscription. Those days left the building so long ago it's now abandoned, as it has not maintained a connection for me in years. I wonder why I am paying for Premium now. Maybe this is a common question and if it is, just put this on ignore and I'll research a paid music service that can do the ONE thing it's supposed to do.

Welcome to the Pandora Community! I'm sorry to hear Pandora hasn't been working as well for you as it did in the past.

I just wanted to clarify your experience to make sure I'm understanding correctly.

When you're traveling through areas with no cell coverage, the Pandora app no longer transition to Offline Mode, and instead the music stops playing?

If that's what you're experiencing, I'd be happy to pass along your details to our engineering team for further review. Could you please let me know:

• The make and model of your device
• Your device's operating system version
• The version of the Pandora app you're currently using

In the meantime, I'd also recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Pandora app. A fresh install creates a new connection with Pandora and may help to improve your experience.

Please note that uninstalling the app will remove any music currently downloaded for offline listening. After reinstalling, you'll need to download your offline content again.

I am really not happy with having to uninstall an app to fix a reception problem being a Premium member. I literally got better reception back in the days when I was NOT a premium member so this just adds insult to injury. I have been advised to ditch Pandora as many friends think it is behind the times for features, functionality and other areas. I was hoping for a more logical fix than basically rebooting the app (don't even get me started on what I think of that as a solution to things) which is not a fix, rebooting is a compromise at best. I don't even know how to do half the things you are saying need to be done (especially reloading all the offline content?!) and that's the insulting part of this whole affair.
