Pandora is Missing on Apple Watch 3

John_plunkett
Local Performer

Since I updated my watch 3 I can’t get pandora icon to show up in my available apps (it’s installed on my phone [iphone 6s] iOS is up to date, Watch is up to date, Ive un-paired and re-paired and restarted both devices) and I still can’t get my pandora app onto my watch again. Everything else is still installed on the watch and watch app

@John_plunkett Sorry for any trouble.

In order to set up Pandora on your Apple Watch, you will need to have the following:

  • Apple Watch series 3 or newer with WatchOS 6.
  • iPhone 6s or newer with iOS 13 and the latest version of the Pandora app.

Next, make sure your iPhone has been paired with your watch. If you need help with that, visit Apple's support page here.

Then use these steps to download the Pandora app onto your watch:

  1. Go to the Watch app on your phone.
  2. Scroll down to Available Apps to find Pandora.
  3. Install the app.
    • If Pandora appears under "Installed On Apple Watch" list, tap and make sure it is set to "Show App on Apple Watch."
    • If you don't see the Pandora app, try restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch.

Or you can install the app directly from your Apple watch using these steps:

  1. Press the Digital Crown on the side of the watch to get to the Home screen and select the App Store.
  2. Swipe to the top of the screen, use Scribble or Dictate to Search for the Pandora app.
  3. Tap Get to install. (You may be asked to enter your Apple ID password to proceed.)

Keep in mind that installing the Pandora app directly onto your watch will not automatically install the app to your mobile device.

Once the app is installed you can set a Complication (shortcut) to launch the Pandora app from your watch face.

To do that:

  1. Long-press your watch face.
  2. Tap Customize.
  3. Swipe right (until you see an option to select icons).
  4. Tap the tile you'd like to use.
  5. Then use the crown to scroll and select Pandora.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Same here!

Pandora isn’t showing up on my watch app on iPhone anymore and is gone from my watch! What do I do? Listening to Pandora is the sole reason I bought the watch!

Hi @John_plunkett @Mheitz @Irish_41051. 👋

I understand your frustration with this -- I'm checking in with our device team about your issue with locating the app on your Apple Watch.

For those who haven't provided this info already, could you provide me with some details about your devices so I can share this with our team?

  1. What iPhone model do you have?
    • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
    • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)
  2. What version is your Apple Watch on? (Open the Watch app on your phone and go to General > AboutVersion)

Let me know.

Hi Alyssa,

Here is the information on my iPhone:

iPhone 6
Version 12.4.5
Pandora version - unsure. I scrolled under the gear icon on the Pandora app and it did not list the version.

Here is the information for the watch:

Apple Watch Series 4, 40mm Gold Aluminum (GPS+Cellular)
watchOS version: 5.3.5

When did it become necessary to have an iPhone 6s or newer?  I used the apple watch with my iPhone 6 up until the last watch update last week?
