(RESOLVED) iOS: Widget blank and not available in widget list

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 26.4

I deleted the Pandora widget on my iPhone and then proceeded to add it back, but the Pandora widget is missing in the list of widgets available.  

I've deleted Pandora, restarted the device, and installed Pandora again.  That didn't fix it.

Searching, I found two other troubleshooting steps to try:  Offload Pandora and the load it back, and change the system language and then change it back.  Neither of those fixed the problem.

I'm wondering if this is just me, or if others have the same issue, and whether or not anyone has had the issue and solved it.

Since I first posted on this, I checked my iPhone XS, iOS 18.7.7, and same problem.  It would seem this isn't something with the OS.  My guess is Pandora removed the widgets, but I haven't been able to find confirmation.

I previously replied to you regarding this but then noticed the posts shared by @Ira ,and @XItzyyX , which seem to be related so I moved your post into the same thread so we can have a better control on what's happening and so we can keep you posted with any update.

I'm sorry for the trouble you all have been experiencing with the widget. I've enabled a trace on your account to help us better understand what's happening. For this trace to be useful, I will need you all to try the troubleshooting steps described below.

I understand that you already tried them out @Ira , but can you please try again so we can check what's happening please?

I would normally suggest to try removing and re-adding the Pandora widget to see if it helps. However since you are not seeing the widget let's go ahead with the reinstall part directly.

To add the Pandora widget:

• Go to the home screen on your iOS mobile phone.
• Press and long hold where you'd like to place the widget.
• Tap the + icon in the upper left corner.
• Search Pandora. 
• Swipe to select your preferred widget size. 
• Tap Add Widget and then Done in the upper right hand corner.

If you happen to be able to see the widget even if it is not displaying the song or controls, please try removing the widget first.

To remove the Pandora widget: 

• Tap and long hold the Pandora widget on your home screen.
• Select Remove Widget.
• Confirm that you'd like to Remove the widget.

Let me know how it goes and let me know if you notice anything else.

@MariaPandora I take by your post that Pandora has not removed the widget from the app?  I should be seeing the widget?

Your troubleshooting steps to add the widget are what I've already performed.  I tried again, just to see if I missed anything, but it is the same.   When I get to the "Search Pandora" step, there is no Pandora.   Just to be sure, I exited the search and scrolled down to the list, scrolled to the P's, and Pandora is not there.

It did occur to me that there might be a difference between adding the Pandora widget to a Smart Stack versus adding a simple widget to the screen, but either way, Pandora doesn't appear in the available widgets.

Added information as it may be related.   I noticed the lock screen control button for Pandora that I had added a while back did not show the Pandora icon, just some faint placeholder.   The button worked, however.   To fix the Icon I deleted the button and then attempted to add it back, but there is not Pandora option for the control.  From searching using AI it appears the app doesn't provide the necessary extension, same or similar issue to the widget unavailability.  Like the widget issue, I had the button before and it worked, but after I deleted it wasn't available to add back.

@AdamPandora Adding additional detail and consolidating the information from me:

1. Note that I observe this on both iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 26.4) and iPhone XS (18.7.7)
2. Carrier is T-Mobile
3. See #1
4. Pandora Version 2602.1
5. First observed when connected to wifi, but just now tried on cellular with the 16 Pro and same issue
6. Similar with the lock screen button on the 16 Pro, observed icon was missing on the button, tried deleting the button with the intention of adding it back and found Pandora is not among the available button options

I currently have iPhone 15 and iOS 26.4 when I notice the widget wasn’t working it was a white box I couldn’t click on it had to locate the app from my App Library. I checked if my app needed to be updated but it to up to date with version 2602.1. I deleted and reinstalled it and rested my iphone but nothing. When you hold onto the app to find the widget only options search and playlist. My mini iPad still has the widget but it goes white randomly for the past three days
