Wait for downloading error message

This is happening to me as well. I have plenty of storage, get the wait for downloading message, but nothing downloads. When I try to download music, the download button isn't available. I have a pandora plus account.

Sorry for any trouble, @sam17.

Can you please send me a screenshot of the error message you are seeing?

(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)

Thank you for working with me on this.

Note this is an iPhone 16 also. It had been working. I was trying to change up my offline music selections and performed a reset on the music downloads. Since then it hasn’t uploaded or downloaded any music for my offline subscription. It just sits there until it goes to sleep or changes back to the play screen.

I know this isn't much to work with. I have plenty of storage space on my iPhone 16e. Deleted the pandora app several times, tried re-starting the download music so many times, I keep getting this screen, but it never downloads. I have excellent wifi. I'm at a loss to know what is going on.

Hi @sam17 , thanks for posting!

I'm sorry for the trouble you are experiencing re-downloading your offline stations.

If it doesn't appear to be storage related, could you provide me with a bit more information about your device?

  • What carrier do you use?
  • Does it seem to fully download the stations but once you go offline they disappear? Or they never fully download even after waiting a long time for them to be downloaded?
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?

Also, I'd recommend disabling the Offline Listening feature and re-enabling it, which will reset the download process. Then, make sure to keep Pandora in the foreground of your device while the download completes.

To do this from your Station List:

  1. Tap the Menu icon, then Settings.
  2. Under Settings, select Offline.
  3. Toggle Offline Stations OFF.

Finally, confirm that you would like the offline stations removed. Once you've done this, toggle the Offline Stations button back ON, and keep the app in the foreground while your offline stations re-download.

Hopefully this will help resolve the issue.

That said, at this time, Pandora Plus listeners cannot add, delete or swap out which stations will be available for offline listening. We know this is a feature you'd like to see implemented so I'd recommend you to upvote with a 💜 this thread: Choose Offline Stations with Pandora Plus

In the meantime, if you're wanting to have other offline stations available to you, try listening to those other stations more (ones that are currently not on your Offline station list) as we automatically select three your most listened stations for you to enjoy offline.

Let me know how it goes!
