This holiday season, we're grateful for you! Response times might take a little longer, but we'll get back to you soon. Thank you for your patience, and may your holiday be filled with the music you love.
Recently noticed that downloaded music is no longer available when my mobile phone is in "airplane" mode. Why is that? I pay for this service and have downloaded the music for this exact situation and some lame 80s music station plans instead. Frustrated customers do not stay customers for long.

Thank you for clarifying that, @TDaw.
Unfortunately, using a VPN while trying to stream Pandora is not currently supported.
We recommend checking if you can make an exception for Pandora in your VPN settings, or if you can safely disable any VPN connections while listening to Pandora. You may want to contact the support team of your VPN for further assistance.
Hope this helps.
@TDaw Is it possible that this might be occurring because there is not enough storage on your device?
Pandora will never use the last 500MB of storage, so we will only download as many stations as we can before we hit that limit.
If it doesn't appear to be storage related, I'd recommend signing out of the app and signing back in, which will reset the download process. Then, make sure to keep Pandora in the foreground of your device while the download completes.
If you continue to have trouble, check the download icon for the content you are attempting to download. The two rotating arrows indicate that the content is still in the download process and the highlighted downward pointing arrow means the content has successfully downloaded.
If the icon is not highlighted, try downloading the content again and keep the app in the foreground while the offline music downloads. Keep in mind that stations and large playlists take a longer time to download.
Lastly, if you are having trouble downloading stations, try downloading a single track for offline listening to see if that works.
I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
Hey Adam, thanks for your ideas. There is over 80 GB of space available on the device, so it is not a space issue. If I sign out of the applet it displays a message that all downloaded songs will be removed, so not going to chance that situation. All songs show downloaded and have listened to them before when offline, so they are downloaded.
Here is the solution - I disabled my new VPN applet (not just paused it) and the downloaded songs played fine. That is a strange situation as I cannot imagine why the applet would 'care' if a VPN is in use. None-the-less, it now works as desired!
Thank you for clarifying that, @TDaw.
