When I switch to offline mode it downloads the 4 stations. I watch the download in the main screen and all 4 stations have green check marks. All stations play in offline mode. The issue is all 4 stations have limited music playback adn just repeats the same songs. I have 34.37 GB of 64 GB avaliable on the iphone and updated to latest IOS 18.5. My thumb print radio has over 3,000 songs but only 20 or so play and they just repeat thats the same thing the other stations do in offline mode. I only use the device for pandora offline music so that I have plenty of storage to listen to all my music offline.
Is there any Fix to this?
Hi @GameFish , thanks for posting!
Can you tell me more about this? When these stations download does the content seem to disappear when going offline? Or does it seems to be downloaded but still won't play?
Also, could you provide me with a bit more information about your device?
In the meantime, If you haven't yet, I'd recommend disabling the Offline Listening feature and re-enabling it, which will reset the download process. Then, make sure to keep Pandora in the foreground of your device while the download completes.
To do this from your Station List:
Finally, confirm that you would like the offline stations removed. Once you've done this, toggle the Offline Stations button back ON, and keep the app in the foreground while your offline stations re-download.
Hopefully this will help resolve the issue. Let me know how it goes!
When i switch to off line mode I allow it to download the 4 stations and it takes about 2 mins and then all stations get check marks by them as they appear complete once the download progress bar finishes. When I go to listen to the offline music that said downloaded all 4 stations play.
The issue is that my thumb print radio only play +/- 45 songs then repeats the same songs over and over again. My online station for thumbprint radio has 3,033 songs thumbed up that should have downloaded but don't play anything but the 45 songs
This is the same issue with the other 3 most played stations that it down loaded. It only plays about 40 songs per station then repeats them.
I have a Iphone X with 18.3 latest update, ATT is the serice provider but its not active because I use this device on ly for the offline music feature and always connected to WIFI network with online. 64 GB of storage and have 29.66 GB available space once the music is in offline mode.
I have tried deleting the app and re downloading it, tried multiple downloads each time before going off line mode etc etc. Did everything outlined in the forums and still can only get a few songs from each station to play.
MariaPandora, Have you figured out this issue as to why my entire station dont download on offline mode?
Hi @GameFish , I'm happy to check but I need you to share with me the information from my previous so we can investigate:
When these stations download and you go offline, does the content seem to disappear when you are on offline? Do you still see the content but still won't play?
Also, could you provide me with a bit more information about your device?
Also, can you confirm if you were able to try the troubleshooting steps and what happened afterwards?
Let me know.
when I switch to offline mode everything seems like it downloads it takes about 2 minutes and the status bar shows progress and then completes as normal. I then toggle to offline activation and then disconnect from wifi. Then go to my library and I see the 4 downloaded stations with all 4 of them having green check boxes. all of them only play about 45 songs only of hundreds Thumprint radio has over 3,033 songs and only plays 45 of them and repeats after the 45 songs.
Iphone X, 64 GB, only using 33.8 GB of 64GB so storage shouldn't be a issue and running latest 18.5 IOS
Thanks for providing that info, @GameFish .
I've passed this along to the appropriate parties for further investigation. We'll follow up with you if we need any additional details.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
Maria, Has there been any fixes to this isssue. I have canceled my subscription until this is fixed as I only have Pandora due to offline mode Please let me know if this will be fixed soon
Hi @GameFish .
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide any additional information or a timeline as to when you can expect to see this resolved.
However, the info you've provided is helpful and I've made sure to pass it along
Have a nice day!
Hi everyone,
I'm adding my voice to this thread because I've been dealing with this exact same issue on my iPhone 13 mini (iOS 26.5, Pandora version 2605.1). My stations get completely stuck on the green "syncing" arrow and never actually finish downloading.
I have already gone through the entire standard troubleshooting checklist: toggling offline mode, completely deleting and reinstalling the app, verifying my available storage (I have nearly 90 GB free), and keeping the app open in the foreground for hours with the screen set to never sleep. Nothing works.
As a loyal user and former Pandora employee, I'm genuinely disappointed. A primary reason I pay for a subscription is to have offline music for my upcoming multi-day backpacking trips to Yosemite and Sequoia/Kings Canyon in July and September. Right now, I functionally don't have access to the service I'm paying for.
Since this is clearly a widespread, known bug that prevents us from using a core Premium feature, can a community moderator please advise on an estimated timeline for a fix from the engineering team? Additionally, is Pandora offering account credits or compensation for subscribers who are currently affected by this feature outage?
Thanks,
Chris
