Cast to chromecast one day, finally decide to upgrade to plus, and now i can no longer cast to chromecast, have tried all the suggestions.. unplug and reboot chromecast, uninstall and reinstall ios app, confirm network settings, no vpn.. only thing changed is that i dropped money on subscription... any update on this?

Thanks so much for reporting this. Your subscription level should not impact your ability to cast from your iOS device to another device.

I would agree that sub lvl shouldn't have anything to do with it.. but the posts iv seen with three pages of people saying this issue only popped up the second they decided to drop money on a paid sub makes a person think otherwise..

Connected to wifi when trying to cast.
also.. airplay to sound system still works fine... so its something with the hand-off to chromecast and account sub lvl??
open Pandora on iPhone, works just fine, tap the cast button at bottom of screen, select the chromecast, connecting..., the chromecast launches the pandora splash screen.. then a sec later pops the unable to cast at this time message on iphone and crashes the chromecast app.

I’m having the exact same issue. Have iOS app Plus subscription, unable to cast. Cast works from Spotify
Also, for the record, doesn't work on my iPad (and the Mac has no option on the macOS app or the web platform), so it seems there's no way around it by using another device.

Sorry for any trouble you've encountered.
Casting from the Pandora Desktop App isn't a feature at this time. Regarding your iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch), you should be able to cast using AirPlay or Chromecast. You'll only be able to cast to another device using the Google Chrome web browser.
To the left of the Chromecast icon, you do have the option to cast using AirPlay to supported devices:
What happens when you attempt to cast from your iOS devices?

I need help with this same problem happy with Pandora for 8 years until I tried the premium package. If this is how it works I will delete and find an acceptable service that connects to Chromecast automatically when it is detected
@ME2250 To clarify, are you also unable to manually cast to Chromecast when tap on the icon in the app?
Or is the issue that you want your device to automatically connect to Chromecast without having to tap on that icon?
