I can’t connect to my facebook. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with the same issue. I follow the prompts and it says unable to connect at this time. I’m getting upset because I’m paying for premium

I can't enable Facebook connection to follow people and I don't have a device activation code

@Aaliya0813 @Hschaner8 I moved your messages to the iOS space to keep the community tidy.

I would like to report this issue to our engineers. Could you tell me more about your device?

  • Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone 5c, iPod 6th gen, iPad Air2, etc.)
  • Carrier:
  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or 3G/4G (cellular data) when this is happening?

Also, are you experiencing this in locations where you used to be able to listen without issue?

Thanks for your help with this!

I am having the same issue. I have an iPhone XS max iOS 13.1. This is very frustrating. There is absolutely nothing in the form of information to help troubleshoot this.

@MissBrat Nice to see you around the community.

To connect your Pandora account with Facebook from a mobile device:

  1. Open Pandora and tap the Profile tab.
  2. Press the Settings gear in the top right corner.
  3. Select Privacy.
  4. Under Manage External Services, you can toggle the Facebook setting to On. You will be asked to authorize your connection. A confirmation message will pop up indicating that you have successfully connected your Pandora and Facebook accounts.

If you continue to run into issues with this, I recommend running through the troubleshooting steps listed on our help page.

Let me know how it goes.

I’ve been trying to connect the iOS app to Facebook.   There’s an option to slide “connect to FB” from off to on, but it moves back to off immediately when I try to turn it on.
How to connect to Facebook via the Pandora iOS app??

Hey there, @Yaelle. 👋

Looks like you were connected but there was an issue. I had someone from our User Support team disconnect your Facebook profile association from your Pandora account.

Could you try reconnecting it now?

Something to note: If you don't have the Facebook app installed on your phone already, this could prevent you from connecting your Pandora account. Please go to the app store on your iOS device and search for Facebook to install the app.

After you've done that, re-open the Pandora app and follow these steps:

  1. Select the Profile tab and then the Settings gear in the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Privacy.
  3. Scroll down to Manage External Services and turn on the Facebook option. Confirm the connection with your Facebook account.

Let me know how it goes. 📲

Hi.  Thanks for replying!! What happens when I go to profile - settings - social - privacy then look at Manage External Services is there’s an option to slide the bar from off to on next to the word Facebook.   But it doesn’t hold.
If I slide it right to ON, it immediately slides back to off.

@Yaelle No problem at all.

Could you try running through these troubleshooting steps for iOS devices?

Let me know if you're able to connect once you've tried them.

Thanks for sticking with me on this!

Thanks.  I went through the steps, removed the app, etc. etc.  but it didnt help.  Then I had the idea to check to make sure Pandora has permission on Facebook, and it does.  It says that Pandora has been allowed to connect to Facebook since 2015.   So it doesn't look like the problem is on Facebook.
THEN what I did was I went to Pandora for desktop.  I went to the account settings on there, but there was nothing about connecting or anything social on that.   I don't know if there are any updates for that, but none are showing.

Still happening: I try to slide that bar on the mobile app in "manage external services"  to green & it immediately moves back to de-selected.

I tried WiFi after reading this to see whether it’d make a difference, but still the same.
iOS 13.3.1 on an iPhone 8+ aaaand the Pandora version says 2002.2 (not sure about PC)  and my carrier is AT&T.

I also noticed that it won’t let me change my profile picture.  There’s a camera icon on that option, which KINDA looks like a Facebook camera icon.   I’ve been unable to click that.
Well, to be accurate, I am physically able to click it, but it doesn’t respond.  So I wonder if that is related.  I tried to sign out & sign back in (using my email address ) but that didn’t change anything.

@Yaelle At this time, the only way to get a photo on your Pandora profile is by connecting to Facebook.

In the meantime, I've reported your device information over to our engineering team.

Thanks so much for your patience during this process! 🎧
