Hi everyone! I would like to share the short but interesting story of this rock classic: Barracuda by Heart The song was born from Ann Wilson's anger at sexist comments and rumors from her record label, Mushroom Records, which insinuated a romantic relationship between her and her sister Nancy, attacking their professionalism and talent. Mushroom Records spread the toxic rumor that Ann and Nancy Wilson were a couple to generate publicity. After a concert in Detroit, a radio promoter approached Ann and asked her about her "lover," referring to her sister Nancy, which infuriated Ann.
