Hey there, @Taiger. 👋 Based on your screenshot, your account is currently set to Allow Explicit Content. You can restrict Pandora from playing songs or displaying ads with explicit language. To block explicit content, from a computer: Click the icon (initial or picture) in the top right corner of the page. Select Settings. Click Content Settings on the left, then toggle the Explicit Content setting to Off to block explicit content. Setting it to On will allow explicit content. Click the Green area to set it to Off. You'll need to Submit your password in order to confirm your changes. Once this setting is turned off, we'll restrict explicit content for that account on all devices. This will limit Pandora to playing only music and ads that could play on daytime broadcast radio.  Note that this can only be applied to the entire account and NOT specific stations. Also, it doesn't apply to podcasts. You can identify podcasts with explicit language by a red "E" label in the episode title. Let me know how it goes. 🎧 ... View more

Pandora Update (08/11/2021): Hey everyone! 👋 Thanks for your patience while this was worked on. We now believe this issue has been resolved. If you're still experiencing this, please let me know. If you haven't already, I would also recommend updating to the newest Pandora app version 2107.1. To update the Pandora app on your iOS device on iOS 13 or newer: Open the App Store application. Tap your Apple ID icon in the top right corner. Scroll down to the Pandora app. If an update is available, there will be an Update icon. If you're running a version older than iOS 13 on your device: Open the App Store application and tap Updates in the bottom right corner of the screen. Hey there, @Randy70. 👋 Nice to see you around the community space. When using your iOS device, you can increase the volume by using the volume buttons on the side of your phone. Something to note, don't alter music equalization on Pandora from how it appears on the original releases, unlike terrestrial radio, which compresses the entire broadcast. As a result, some songs sound louder than others. However, we do use the Replay Gain technique that encodes a fixed volume adjustment into the mp3/mp4 header so that the actual player (web browser, phone or device) can adjust volume just as the track begins playing. If there are vast differences, it could also be due to different instrumentation or arrangements causing different apparent levels of volume where the actual decibel levels are the same. ++ Are you having trouble with the volume being too low? Hey there, @Doc3. 👋 Nice to see you around the community space. There is no hourly or daily skip limit for Pandora Plus and Pandora Premium stations and in that sense you will receive unlimited skips. Although the majority of the songs in our collection will be eligible to be skipped without limits, you may encounter a portion of songs that are not eligible to be skipped due to our current licensing agreements. Since we're bound by our existing license to stream many of our tracks in a radio format, this option may not be available for some tracks. We know it can be frustrating to have to listen to a song you'd rather skip. When this happens, we suggest scrolling through your recently played tracks and selecting a song to replay. Or switch things up by tuning into a different station. Alternatively, Pandora Premium subscribers can create custom playlists that are not subject to these licensing restrictions. We are continuously working on increasing the amount of songs which can be skipped on our stations. Our intention is to provide enough music you enjoy to avoid any inconvenience around this.
