I totally get this! It's tough sometimes when you want to branch out creatively but it feels like a stretch to continue putting out music under one artist/group name.
I think it's really cool to start a label under the name of your primary project to promote releases of your new projects. I also think it's an amazing idea to start putting your friends music out on this same label. That is a wonderful way to support your friends while also helping to build a local community "scene". I have known people who started labels just to help out friends that have grown into nationally recognized labels attributed to a fertile music scene.
Feel free to share releases from your label as they come out!

Hi @BlankBrothers ! Thanks for popping in and introducing yourself. This is a brand new community, so I am happy you found it 😎
Digging your music - Blank Brothers reminds me of a certain strain of indie-dance music like LCD Soundsystem, Caribou, Hot Chip, etc. I'm into it!
How did it morph into a label?

Hey all - I am curious as to what your creative process is when writing and producing new music?
For me, I almost always start a new idea with a simple drum pattern and work on the bass line. I have been playing bass for about 20 years so I feel most comfortable with it plus it really dictates the mood/feeling of the song. I've also been playing synth bass lately to help mix up the variety of the ideas.
Once I feel like I have a solid foundation, I start to layer with other instruments but I rarely do that until I am happy with the bass.
What do you do?

Welcome @ElementalM! I always appreciate and hearing everyone's music so thanks for sharing yours. It reminds me of Happy Mondays in that it's got a real upbeat, joyous vibe with some "baggy" beat.
I can also definitely hear the Prince influence in there too. Prince is one of my absolute favorites, in fact, I recently rewatched his incredible halftime show. Hard to believe he actually performed "Purple Rain" during a downpour!

Cool stuff @Braddocklee! I appreciate the variety and arrangements in your music, the strings/piano/chord progression in "Where'd You Go?" is very powerful. Happy to hear you're making music again! 🤘
Chris Cornell was such a talent - "Badmotorfinger" is an all-timer for me. Bumping that right now in his honor!

Hey @aeoliah , we appreciate the suggestion.
Currently, we can only legally offer Pandora services to listeners located in the United States.
Audio content streaming regulations differ from country to country, and we are still working on acquiring the proper licenses so we can offer Pandora in even more places around the world.
That being said, I recommend creating a feature request for your suggestion as I'm sure other AMP users would be interested in this as well.
The Ideas section allows Community members to make suggestions for what they would like to see on Pandora and AMP and for other Community members to weigh in.
I hope that helps!

@Douglas-Bales this songs sounds so great! You did an incredible job channeling Joe Strummer here 😎
He is one of my favorites too and have listened to tons of The Clash over the years. I really love their creative arc as a band and particularly enjoy their experimentations with Dub. Sandinista is definitely an all-timer for me!

@n8donnis You weren't kidding - I can see that you have had music on Pandora for over 15 years! That's truly impressive and inspiring! So happy to hear you're still creating and wanting to know more about AMP. 😀
If you're feeling proactive, you can check out the AMP Playbook to learn more about the tools available to you. We will also be having some topics about these tools and more soon as well!

We appreciate you introducing yourself @frankiengomusic. I admire your ability to be a musical chameleon as the genres you mentioned are quite varied. I wish I had more time to really branch out and try something different. Making a New Age album would be a lot of fun! 🌟
I have listened to On Piano in the past and it is so peaceful. It has helped me to focus which is amazing since my brain is normally moving a million miles per hour haha. I highly recommend it! 🎹

Thanks for sharing @svulcano! Your song has a very powerful message, we have definitely come to rely heavily on digital communication these days - for better or for worse. I hope the irony of us connecting on an online Community isn't too much 🙂
I also love The Traveling Wilburys! A supergroup in it's truest sense - Everyone brought so much to the table in regards to song-writing, musicianship and production. I would have to say that Jeff Lynne is my favorite Wilbury but I am a huge ELO fan 😉
