I don't know anything about Echo or Alexa. But basically, you need a Pandora account (different email address) for each of the devices where you want to listen. To make it work, I had to start over - log out of all places where I used Pandora, resend invitations (to the various email addresses) and then log back in to all devices with the different accounts/invitations. The email addresses I used for the different Pandora accounts were pretty much irrelevant (as long as they were different). So, in our house we have 4 Pandora accounts. I believe that Pandora Family allows 5 accounts.1. my husband's phone (his personal gmail address)2. my phone (my work-related gmail address)3. Google Home (my personal gmail address)4. my laptop uses my personal Yahoo email address - and that is the primary Pandora account that sent the invitations to emails 1-3. The problem that seemed to hang me up was that I wanted to listen to one Pandora account on my phone and another Pandora account on our Google Home devices ... but I was running Google Home from my phone. Ultimately, I had to really dig on Google Home to figure out how to switch Pandora accounts - and I have no idea now how I did it. I also think it works to log into Google Home first and then log into Pandora on my phone. I don't know if these things apply to Alexa/Echo. But I do know that the bottom line is that you need a different Pandora account for all your devices.

You have to sign out/log out of all apps, website etc - everywhere you are logged in - and basically start again. You can follow the directions from Pandora above, making sure you have a separate account/email for all devices. The stickler for me seemed to be the Pandora app on my phone, which was pulling the account from other apps on my phone. I don't remember exactly, but the order of how/when I signed back in to the apps (specifically Pandora and Google Home) on my phone was important. They have to be different accounts. I use one account for Google Home so that someone at home can listen to Pandora and another account on my phone so that I can listen via Android Auto while on the road. So you have to make sure those are two different accounts ... and the "smart" phone doesn't make that easy!

I have completely given up on sharing playlists as nothing has worked. But I'm getting really sick of being told that someone else is listening to my Pandora - especially when I am the primary account holder! We have a family plan - and I've invited 3 accounts. One is my husband's so that he can listen from his phone (and in his car). The other is a second gmail address that I have so that I can listen on my phone (and in my car). The third is my primary gmail address that is linked to my Google Home so that one person can listen at home while the other is in the car (or in another room on their phone). We continue to get the "someone is listening" when we try to listen through Google Home. I've searched and searched for answers in the Google Home community because I can't figure out where it even shows which Pandora account is linked to Google Home. (That is why I just went ahead and invited the gmail address associated with Google Home to my Pandora account, whose primary account is a Yahoo email address.)
We pay a lot of money for this and it is getting old. All links on Pandora's website have been useless as their descriptions (pathways) for Google Home are old and outdated.
Please please please please tell me how to "fix" this problem.
Primary Pandora account is a Yahoo account. We pay for a "family" plan. This account has invited ...
Account #1 (husband's gmail account - uses to sign in to Pandora on his phone)
Account #2 (my gmail account - used to sign in to Pandora on my phone)
Account #3 (gmail account associated with Google Home so we can listen on Google Home)
Nobody can listen on Google Home without one of the other people (listening on their phones) getting kicked off.
Please tell me what to do.
