FWIW I switched to Spotify about six months ago. The EQ feature in their app works perfectly. Spotify's curation isn't quite as good, but I'm happy to trade that for the ability to EQ the sound. Spotify also allows crossfading on their apps. It was a pretty easy switch and inexpensive if you take advantage of their periodic new listener discounts. After more than a decade with Pandora I finally cancelled my subscription and signed up with Spotify (they have a premium 3 month free trial). The music selection is just as good so far, easy to set up on my iPhone with a very intuitive interface. Best of all, it has two features that sold me: Full equalizer  Crossfade Works perfectly with Apple Car Play and our car stereos sound better than ever.  I would have stuck with Pandora if they would only offer the same features. 😕 ...
