Nope, it's still not working for me. I did a reboot and tried the desktop app and Chrome. I'm on a Mac (the latest ver) however.

@karalivbus, could be handy for some cases, and I did not know this, so thanks. However, it doesn't fix the original issue. This only works if you thumbs up a song. We want to know beforehand if we should thumbs up a song or not, depending on which station it's coming from. I guess if we're desperate enough and really like a song, we can give it a thumbs and later unthumb it, which is maybe what you were getting at, but this is really not what we want. But I guess it's something? (quite, don't tell Pandora).

Earlier this year, I was having this same issue. Then it was fixed for me. But apparently, it wasn't fixed for everyone. Based on some previous posts, some also had it fixed, but then the issue started again for them. It was starting to look like I was the only one with this feature still working. Now, it's no longer working for me either. The issue came back for me about a week or two ago. I'm just chiming in with everyone else that this helpful feature is no longer working.

I just tested on my PC and logged into Pandora from Microsoft Edge. It works for me. If @karalivbus other laptop still doesn't work, then that will suck. Could the issue be account-related? Could it be regional? @Pandora, what steps are being taken?

@karalivbus, mine was doing that a few weeks ago (maybe a month ago). It's frustrating. It was resolved for me on 08/17/2023. Did you try clearing the cache and rebooting, etc.? I'm asking just to know. I'm no programmer, but I've worked with many to know that it's one thing if something isn't working for anyone, but it's more challenging to determine if something is working for some but not for others.

@XCaliber and anyone else not sure how to find this feature and what it looks like, from the "Now Playing" tab/view, scroll down until somewhere around where the about the artist or similar artist appears. Eventually, an information bar should appear near the top (just below the search field). Here's a screenshot with that area highlighted. In this example, the song is "Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie and the station it's playing from is "Glam Mix."

This morning, Pandora automatically launched me into the "Now Playing" screen with shuffle stations on. However, the information bar that usually pops up after scrolling down did not show. I went to "My Collection," selected a random station (not shuffling), turned shuffle stations back on, and then went back to the "Now Playing" screen. Everything is back to normal. I can't explain that one or why some of us have this feature broken while others (like myself) have it working. For those with this feature not working, did you try clearing the browser's or App's cache, exiting the browser/app, rebooting your computer, and then relaunching Pandora? I know that's a pain and not a real solution, but it would be interesting to know whether that worked or not.

It's still working fine for me. I can see what station a song is playing from on my machine. I'm on a Mac if that makes any difference. I tested the downloaded desktop app, in Chrome, as well as Safari. All are showing the station while in shuffle stations mode.

I was having this issue a couple of days ago. I was shocked by it. But as of today (08/17/2023), it has seemed to be resolved. On my Mac I generally use the downloaded desktop app. But this seems to be resolved in Chrome (on my Mac) as well. I have not check on other platforms or Browsers.

@eva1 Pandora’s greatest strength is creating (and playing) custom stations based on songs, artists, or both. Then you can thumbs up or down a song generated from that station. Many of us like to highly fine tune their various stations. You may have two different rock genre stations for different purposes. In theory, some songs my overlap. But you may feel that a song you like on one station doesn’t work for you in another station. So, you like to be able to control the thumbs up and down of your various stations. This is all well and good. However, some of us also like shuffling our various stations for various reasons. When we hear a song we like and want to give it a thumbs up, we want to know which station the song in pulling from to know if it’s appropriate to give it a thumbs up for that particular station. We may like various songs for various reasons. But we also know that a song we like might not fit the stations that we are trying to tweak. When shuffling stations, we want to know which station a song is pulling from to rate it appropriately. In the last couple of comments, we mentioned how we can tell from a desktop. Unfortunately, the ability to know which station a song is coming from is only on a desktop. We’re out of luck on all other platforms.

@jon20036, Yes, I have the $4.99 Pandora Plus subscription. If you're on the free plan, I have no idea if that will make a difference or not. For me, if I'm shuffling stations and go to the "Now Playing" tab, I have to scroll down until I see the "ABOUT THE ARTIST" or "SIMILAR ARTIST" sections. At that point a new header pops up just underneath the search field. As you can see from my screenshot that this song "Fat Bottomed Girls" is from my station called "Mixed Rock Mix."

It's back, at least on desktop. I have no idea what the issue was, but now I can tell which station a song is generated from on desktop again. Now if they can just port over this ability to other platforms.

I have not been using Pandora for a few weeks (maybe about a month). I came back today to add new and modify some of my existing stations. When shuffling, I now see what @AP1529 recently mentioned. This thread was about adding the function that the desktop experience has, of knowing what station a song was seeded from, to all other platforms. I had posted a similar request. As much as I hate that I can not know which station a song is from on other platforms, at least I knew I had the desktop version to fall back on when needed. Now that's gone. This is in the wrong direction. Please add this feature to all platforms and devices. Don't take it away!

@sgginc sorry, not so on my account. All I see from the now playing screen if I scroll down is the artist and the album the song is from, not the station it was generated from. So, I have no idea if it's from my 90's Alternative Mix or from some other station that I have created.
