I wanted to share an update to this thread.  The past couple days, I started experiencing the same issues detailed and was solved by using the process of forced stop, clear cache & clear storage.  While not terribly complex, it is a bit odd that I needed to do this a little over a month since the last time to keep functionality.  Leading up to this, I noticed Pandora running constantly in the background and devouring my battery.  Hopefully a future update will correct these issues so I don't have to clear everything and sign back in monthly. ...
