When this issue occurs:
Is the issue that music does not play at all? Or does music play initially, however ends up stopping after a few songs?
Are you attempting to listen to a station, album, playlist, or podcast?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data?
If using Wi-Fi, are you able to recover the listening session by toggling Wi-Fi off?
Are you using a Bluetooth connection?
Are you seeing any error messages? If so, what do they say?
