Checking in again today, nothing has changed. Whatever the fix was that was pushed out has not changed anything as far as I can tell. My Alexa device still cannot find the stations with any command I have tried (e.g. "Alexa play Graveyard Radio on Pandora," or "Alexa tell Pandora to play the station Graveyard Radio.") I tried the renaming trick that has been suggested, renaming "Graveyard Radio" to "New Graveyard Radio," which _does_ work sort of, the Alexa skill finds the station with the "new" prefix, but if I rename it back it looses it again and can't find it. Hello, the fix has not improved my experience at all. Nothing has changed. All of the stations that could not be found through Alexa voice commands continue to not play through voice commands. Alexa will report, "I can't find the station (station name) on Pandora," for all of them. No improvement. ... View more

I spent some time this morning messing around with it and neither of those workarounds work for me. The only work around that has worked for me is using the Alexa app to play the station. There are no voice commands that I can find that seem to address the problem. Neither "Alexa play Graveyard Radio from Geoff's Pandora," nor "Alexa play my Pandora station Graveyard Radio," result in the skill finding the station even though the station clearly shows up in the Alexa app in the Pandora skill section and plays just fine when I launch it from there. ... Thanks for posting that. That doesn't align with what I'm seeing, maybe they are different issues. For me it seems totally random which stations the Pandora Alexa skill can find and which it can't. The only pattern I've seen is that if I ever rename a station, the skill won't ever be able to find it again. ... View more

The second Tidal starts to offer stations that work as well as Pandora's I am absolutely switching. Pandora keeps pulling me back in because the Music Genome Project really does populate stations with almost magical prescience. All the other services really just have (badly) curated playlists and call them "stations." Every time I try another service out, I end up back at Pandora because, it turns out, what I listen to most, by far, is real stations algorithmically generated from songs or artists I like. Pandora is so far superior to every other service in that realm that I end up dissatisfied every time I try to switch. But in every other way it is inferior in my opinion, as evidenced by this baffling inability to play anything I want it to via Alexa devices. I'll switch instantly if any other service figures out how to do real stations. By the way, there are lots of services that will migrate playlists from Pandora to Spotify and Tidal. I am using Echo Dot 3rd generation devices. I have tried various phrases, none of which work for the stations that aren't working. The two I use the most (using "Calm Yoga Music" as an example, assume this is a station which actually does exist and this is the correct name for it), which work for most stations but mysteriously stop working, apparently at random, for stations are: "Alexa play 'Calm Yoga Music' on Pandora" "Alexa tell Pandora to play the station 'Calm Yoga Music'" What Alexa does when the skill can't find the station actually varies, as in the system non-deterministically responds to the same command with different responses. Some examples are: "Sorry, I don't know that" "Hmmm, I don't know that one" "I can't find the station 'Calm Yoga Music' on Pandora" etc. Looking at the Utterance History report, Alexa is absolutely correctly hearing what I am saying, but the skill isn't finding certain stations, stations that it used to find correctly.      ...
