Can you make the feature request board easier to find? It doesn’t show up as a separate board, at least not while using iPhone. I basically had to stumble upon its existence.
mod edit: changed title for clarity

Seriously, I do ghostwrite letters for people. I consider myself to be a communication conduit in that process, but I do charge a fee.

Typically, ghostwriters don’t come for free, but I hear that ghost busters are cheap. So who you gonna call?

@AdamPandora , it might make it easier for the Pandora team if there was a single thread to report library issues if not a button within the app that flags the track for the Pandora team to look in to. That way, we won’t have multiple posts here or in separate threads.

Sometimes, a song has multiple versions with different lyrics by the same singer/band, and there appears to be no way to report this or get it corrected properly. I flagged one song accordingly by reporting it to Pandora, and now both versions have incorrect lyrics. 😞
I agree with others here who have said that this should be easier to report.
In a different thread, I asked about lyrics and was told that Pandora gets its lyrics and bios from another source, but it would be so much more user friendly if these errors (and the band/song mismatch errors reported here) could be flagged and a comment attached by us listeners that an error has been made that Pandora could look into correcting more quickly.

@ErickPandora , this message deserves a “thumbs down”. It would seem inappropriate to upvote this message. @MOHLovesAlaska , I agree. This is certainly no surprise.

@AdamPandora , Fascinating writeup. I’d be curious to know what the approximately 450 attributes are. It would be cool if I could create a station based on, say, 12 of those attributes of my choosing. (12 is just a random number for this example.) Probably outside your purview, but is there a reason that such a compilation must be proprietary?

@Gornicus, I have occasionally noticed this happening as well. Sometimes, bands are delineated by geography (Faun is an example, only one of the two I really like, but I do like one of the tracks from the second band), but other times the bands seem to have no delineation. A delineation of genre in the band name, similar to a delineation of geography might be helpful in these cases. Also, more artist bios would probably help here. (I’ll start a separate thread on that request.) That would make it easier to know which of multiple bands with the same name you are probably looking for.

Ronald, one thing I learned a while ago is that if you specifically go looking for a relationship instead of looking for interesting people you can get along with, you might be looking for a long time. If you just put yourself out there, you’re more likely to find somebody you could spend the rest of your life with. Unfortunately, that is a lot more challenging to do with COVID going around. Online communities/interactions really seem to be a poor substitute for in person interaction, but for now, that’s the safest way.

“The Rose” by Bette Midler (others have done this song too, but Midler’s is by far my favorite) is one of my favorite songs. Every time I listen to it, it gives me nearly euphoric chills with the combination of lyrics, music, and overall feeling, so I’m going to heartily agree with mohempsted.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I’ve been a Pandora fan for many years. I forget when I first signed up.

@MOHLovesAlaska , I am pretty much an everything-but-rap-and-heavy-metal guy. Bagpipes and new age are definitely in my musical taste too. (I love Scottish and Irish music where bagpipes seem to be fairly common.) Maggie Sansone’s hammered dulcimer, or any hammered dulcimer player, is just a beautiful sound. I play recorder, and that seems to be a popular instrument in different nationalities of European folk music. Alas, I’m nowhere near skilled enough to play any of the monstrously difficult classical music recorder pieces. Sadly, the recorder tends to be thought of more as a toy or beginning musician instrument, but in some adept hands, it is a beautiful sound. I’m probably just rambling about my musical enjoyments now, so I guess I’ll stop here for now.

Do you normally stand sideways? I find that gravity doesn’t like it when I do that. 🙂 I suppose it’s better than walking around upside down. I had a doctors appointment at a hospital recently, and after asking me the usual questions upon entering the hospital under these unusual circumstances, they gave me a “we’ve talked to you” sticker (I forget the actual label on it) which they put on me upside down, so I told people I must have been walking around on my head all day and didn’t know it. 🙂

CURRENTLY LISTENING TO: Faun Radio FAVORITE FEATURE: I love hearing music from artists and bands I would never have run across without Pandora’s suggestions based upon stations from bands or genres I’ve listened to.

I’m not sure if this might be a licensing issue, but when I listen to Pandora, I’m often wanting to either read/sing along with the lyrics. (I also get to learn how the phonetics of different languages work when I can hear and see them at the same time.) It seems that many songs don’t have their lyrics on Pandora, which is a bit annoying. I’ve noticed this with many different styles of music and in many different languages. Are lyrics a licensing issue, and if not, can a greater effort be included to add lyrics to all songs with words?
