I'm coming back here because, while I have no proof this is the case, I think what might be the problem is that my phone (Pixel 3) lost updates/support by Google earlier this year. I now have a new phone, but have since ended my Pandora subscription because it wasn't working properly anymore so I can't check to see if my new phone fixes it, but I imagine it probably does. ...
