What worked for me was clearing data and then enabling the allow background battery activity for Pandora. 1. Cleared my data like the original instructions 2. Thank you for your help! That wasn't the problem directly, but it led to the solution. I actually feel embarrassed because I should have realized I could clear the data along with the cache, because everything's on Pandora's servers. Anyway, after I cleared the data, force stopped it, then cleared it again and restarted, it played for about 2 minutes and crashed. But this time when it restarted, it had a prompt asking if streaming stopped, and a few things to try, with a settings button for battery settings.
