If anything, I am trying to understand what I see on my end. On Instagram, I see other artists thanking Pandora to be included in playlists and they show their song added in programming placements, but all I ever see is the Fresh Cuts playlist if I end up getting a song on there. Example below.
However, when I go to my catalog and pick any song at all, I can see details that show me the song is in a ton of playlists that appear to be editorial programmed playlists. Pics below to show what I mean.
I used my track, "Imaginarium" as an example here. All I can see are the top 10 sources for the editorial programming, but aren't these programming placements? All the icons have the Pandora "P" logo on the top left. If these are programmed placements, then why do they not show up on my main page in the place where I can see a track added to the Fresh Cuts playlist? If they are not programmed placements, and editorial placements are different, can you please tell me the difference between the two? Also, if they are different, how can I get my songs in programming placements besides the fresh cuts playlist? The track I used an example here made it to a million streams within 10 months of it's release. It's been live for 13 months now and is still going strong at 1.4+ million. What does Pandora look at to get a track programmed? Or, do I already have this when I see all the playlists under editorial programming? Sorry if this sounds confusing, I'm just trying to better understand the data I see.
Hey @MariaDavis - I completely understand where you're coming from.
In general, the Programming Placements module will only populate if your music has been programmed by Pandora's curation team to stations and playlists. In other words, an editorial programming should lead to a "Programming Placement".
With that being said, I am happy to look into why you see Editorial stations in your Catalog tab but not in the Programming Placement section.
I have gone ahead and escalated this internally. You will be getting an email follow up so be on the look out for that.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we check this out ✌️
ChrisPandora or anyone, can someone help clarify this?

Oh okay, so they are kinda the same thing. Yea, not sure why they don't show up in the programming placements, and I really appreciate you looking into it.
