RESOLVED 4/16/25: Android: Thumbs not working

I have the latest OS with the S25 ultra and I'm having a problem where I like a song, it highlights, then immediately disappears. Just started recently ๐Ÿ˜”.

To clarify i can't like a song, I click it and it immediately "unlikes" from the visual

Pandora Update 4/16/25:

Hi all!

Thanks everyone for posting your experiences! 

We believe that the issue with using thumbs in AutoPlay has now been resolved. The next time you're in AutoPlay please try thumbing once again.

 

If you continue to have trouble with thumbs in AutoPlay, please provide the following:

  • The date and time - please include timezone:
  • The track you were listening:
  • If you're able to capture a screenshot of the track or a screen recording of the thumbed track not saving would be wonderful.

Thanks for letting us know that you're having trouble using thumbs.  We've passed this along to our engineering team so they can take a closer look.

If you're still experiencing this, could you please share the following details?

  • Did this happen when listening to a Station or AUTOPLAY?
    • If a station, what was the station name?
  • Did this happen on your Android?
    • What is the OS version + Pandora version?
    • Was your Android connected to another device, such as Android Auto or a speaker?

Pandora isn't adding songs to my thumbs up Playlist or even taking my thumbs up. I cleared the cache and made sure it was updated.

Wife is having same issue on brand new S25+... Uninstalled/re-installed, didn't fix it.

I'm having the same issue as well on my samsung Galaxy s24 plus 

When I go to Click the thumbs up button. It will not stay why?

After trouble shooting further... We logged out and back into her account.  On Android we went into phone SETTINGS And select APPS... Find Pandora and inside the app settings select STORAGE.  Select CLEAR CACHE and then CLEAR DATA.

 

Restarted the phone and now thumbs up (favoriting) is working.

Recently I can no longer like songs. It flashes real quick but doesn't stay liked. I've logged out of app and back in. I've deleted and reinstalled the app on my phone, cleared app cache and still doing the same. Songs I've liked in the past still show liked, but any song I try to like now just won't stay selected on any station.

I have done everything that Pandora told me to do in on the trouble shooting page. It still isn't letting me thumbs up anything. It will only let me thumbs down songs ๐Ÿ˜ž It does it on every song, no matter if it's on autoplay or a station.
