I am trying to add my daughter to my family plan account. Based on what I've read on here she has to first create her own Pandora account and then she can accept the invite from the email I sent her. After she enters her birth year, the error message she gets says Unable to Create Account. She is 12. Suggestions?
mod edit: changed title for clarity

I'm having the same issue...we specifically signed up for the family plan in order to allow my children under 13 to have access. We can do this with spotify. So we will now cancel and use that again.
Can't register kids for family account says Sorry, we're unable to accept your registration

If your child is 13 or older and you are still experiencing issues, please reply back to this message and let me know.
Hope this helps.
Just… wow. Whoever is running Pandora is failing by not making this the #1 priority. I’ve been a Pandora user from the very early days—literally before the iPhone was invented.
Now I have kids and I want to start introducing them to music. And you’re telling me you have no options for that?! Literally leaving me no choice but to change service, which I will do today.
Now you’ve lost not only me, but my kids, and—no doubt—an entire generation of their peers.
Your only recommendation is “upvote this issue”?!! The fact that no one in leadership recognizes this as a problem… again, just wow.
Really loved you Pandora. Goodbye.
Created an account just so I could comment this. 5 years. 5 YEARS? This has been an issue for 5 years and you haven't addressed it? Why? What have y'all been doing? It's not like there's been any groundbreaking new innovation with Pandora in that time period that has kept y'all busy. Y'all just really do not care. I've been paying for pandora for 10+ years. Today I'm done. Parents want their kids to be able to listen to music. They want to be able to decide what music their kids listen to at what age. I feel like this is the most basic request ever. Y'all literally just don't care. The 17.99 a month for the "family" plan? I don't think Netflix even costs that much.
