Android: App Crashes Occasionally

The app constantly shuts down randomly and it's annoying. Am I the only one this is happening to? I'm glad I didn't buy the paid version or I would really be pissed. And it don't matter what android phone it is. I have a Motorola and a Samsung and it crashes on both. So aggravated right now.

@ctech1 Thanks for following up with that information.

I moved your post over to this existing thread: Android: App Crashes Occasionally

I've also enabled a trace on your account to help us better understand what's happening.

For this trace to be useful, we'll need you to run through our troubleshooting steps once more: Troubleshooting for Android Devices

If the app crashes again after running through the steps linked above, can you please let me know the date/time it occurred?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Additionally, please provide your device model, Android OS, One UI (if on Samsung), and Pandora app versions:

  • Model:
  • Android version (Settings > About Phone > Android version):
  • One UI version: (Settings > About Phone > Software information):
  • Pandora version (Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Find Pandora):

Thanks again for working with me on this.

@greenmt05 Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Could you explain what's happening in more detail?

When this issue occurs:

  • Does the app completely exit and you are brought back to your phone's home screen?

  • If not, is the app still open in the background where you're able to press play and resume music or do you need to close and relaunch the app to continue listening?

  • Are you listening to a station, album, playlist, or podcast?
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data?
    •  If using Wi-Fi, are you able to recover the listening session by toggling Wi-Fi off?
  • Are you using a Bluetooth connection?

Additionally, please provide your device model, Android OS, One UI (if on Samsung), and Pandora app versions:

  • Model:
  • Android version (Settings > About Phone > Android version):
  • One UI version: (Settings > About Phone > Software information):
  • Pandora version (Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Find Pandora):

The more information you can provide, the better I can help.

Thanks for working with me on this.
