I typically use shokz Bluetooth devices to listen to pandora.recently pandora has started to ignore commands from the headsets which are supposed to be able to start/stop and skip songs.at first I thought it was my headset buy ive been able to verify it is neither a fault or low battery(I have 3 headsets).
Even checked if pandora had an update pending but none are shown.
Any help?

Hi there, @Phillip_faugno. ๐
Thanks for your post.
My first recommendation would be to try repairing your headphones to see if that changes anything. Sometimes a fresh connection can do the trick. You can also try clearing the app data to see if that helps. You can find those steps here: Android Troubleshooting
If the issue continues, I can share your experience and feedback with the appropriate party on my end. It's helpful to know:
- Model:
- Carrier:
- Android version (Settings > About Phone):
- Pandora version (Go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number):
- Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
I hope this helps. Let me know. ๐ง

I 2nd this. Pandora just keeps playing when press pause. It also no longer shows up on my screen when I swipe down a lot of the times, but the music is still playing.

Hi there, @Riless44. ๐
Thanks for sharing your experience on this thread. I'd like to gather more details to share on your behalf.
Would you mind providing additional info?
- What is the make and model of the Bluetooth device you're using?
- Phone make and model:
- Carrier:
- Android version (Settings > About Phone):
- Does this issue also occur when you aren't using a Bluetooth device?
- Are your controls grayed out when this happens?
- Have you encountered any error messages? If so, what exactly does it say?
Thanks for your help with this. ๐ง

Hello,
Did anyone find a solution here? When I pause pandora using my shokz open fit headphones the music continues even though app says paused. When this happens the app won't allow interaction until next song or I force close.
I have t-mobile, galaxy s23+, I only listen on bluetooth, no the controls aren't grayed out, they just don't respond. No error messages
