I performed the Android software update on 1/18/22, and now I cannot skip or pause Pandora without unlocking my phone and going into the Pandora app. The solution posted 12/20/21 does not work. I am using v. 2112.1, I turned off the widgets, and I restarted my phone, and I still cannot use Pandora on my lock screen.
