I tolerate pandora on my phone, and I'll eat ads to support my free subscription. But with a recent update (no idea when - my phone auto updates), Pandora has decided to start including podcasts of various drivel while in the middle of a playlist. A 15-30 sec add I can live with, but once it starts the podcast, I have to abort out of the playlist. Please tell me the secret for turning this "feature" off. Thanks

Hi @dianegluhm! Welcome to community.
I checked your account and I don't see that Podcast have been collected. I've enabled a trace to help me investigate. The next time you're connected to your car can you share a picture of what you're seeing.
You can include a picture directly in your reply on community. The is best done on a mobile or web browser, as you won't be able to attach a photo through the email notification you may receive.
Thanks for the help!

The answers given here by Pandora community managers are a willful slight of hand, and intentional misread of what users are asking for. Nobody cares I assure you about how to delete one individual podcast episode or channel. Users want the entire podcast module removed from Pandora because we don't want it. There are many other avenues on the internet to get podcasts. Pandora wants a piece of this traffic to drive other sales of upgrades. That's all well and good, just keep podcasts in their own lane and quit auto promoting them to top level without users' choice, and stop gating off immediate access to playlists.
When will Pandora realize that people love their own playlists, they don't love podcasts on this platform?
