I have deleted these songs off my Playlist 5 times but they always turn up in the shuffle I've been having this problem for awhile the device i am on is Samsung S9+.
mod edit: changed title for clarity
I deleted some songs on one of my playlists, and even though they don't show up on the playlist anymore they still play when I shuffle the playlist. Also, when I select certain songs in that playlist they won't play. Instead the old deleted songs play. It's very confusing.
@J8mk I'm happy to look into this.
Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?
Also, the next time this happens, can you please take a screenshot of the now playing screen when a deleted track is playing on your playlist?
Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝

I listen on my phone (galaxy s10). The screen will look like this, it says in the playlist it's playing one song when in reality it's playing a song that isn't even on the playlist. In this example the playlist is displaying La Tortura by Shakira is playing but the bottom playbar/the song that is actually playing is cheerleader. This happens whenever I click on that song, it always plays cheerleader. I have a similar issue with half the other songs on the playlist. I tried restarting my phone and deleting and reinstalling pandora, but I still have the issue.
@J8mk Thanks for following up with that information.
Our support team has enabled a trace on your account to get a better understanding of what is happening.
For this trace to be useful, we'll need you to run through our suggested troubleshooting steps listed here: Troubleshooting for Android Devices

If this does not resolve the issue, I'd like to report your experience to our engineering team.
Can you send over a bit more info about your device?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?

So I reset it and "accidentally" added another song to the playlist and something weird happened it got rid of the other songs but now I can't get rid of the songs I added.
Hi there, @Bradvenderman. 👋
Thanks so much for letting us know about this.
Can you send over a bit more info about your device?
Appreciate your help with this. 🎧
I've actually reported this exact problem almost a year ago and they still haven't done anything.
When I make a new playlist / edit a playlist the songs I delete don't always stay deleted. I recently made a new playlist that, if I scroll through and count, has 46 songs but it tells me there's 51. So the deleted songs are still there but can't be seen. Also the deleted songs can be played when I shuffle or if I pick a song that moved into the place of a deleted song the deleted song plays instead.
So my question is, has anyone else had this problem before and if there is anyway to fix it. I've tried restarting my phone, copying the songs to a new playlist and deleting the old one, uninstalling & reinstalling Pandora, and even force closing the app.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there, @domthadon. 👋
I moved your post over to this existing thread: Songs Aren't Deleting From My Playlist
I enabled a trace on your Pandora account. While the trace is enabled, please try running through our suggested troubleshooting steps found here.
If the issue persists, could you share the following details?
Let me know, and I can pass this along to our engineering team. 🎧
Model: S9+
Carrier: Dont know
Android version: 10
Pandora version: 2101.1
And its happening both on cellular data and wifi. Something else to note if you add one song you can delete another and thats the only way I've been able to delete songs off my playlists.
Thank you, @Bradvenderman. I've passed this along to our engineering team.

@ljcozad04 Thanks for your feedback about this. I understand your frustration with this issue. I do see that you contacted our User Support team via email in October 2020. I created a new internal ticket for this issue.
Could you take a look at my post here and send over your device info?
Let me know, and appreciate your help with this. 🎧
I have the same issue. Deleted songs stay in my playlist. If I click on a song in the playlist, the deleted songs still shuffle into rotation, but they don't show up on the playlist. The deleted songs do show up on the list of songs playing from the page of the song that's playing. If I click on a song on the playlist that was near the deleted songs, the deleted songs play instead of the selected song.

Screenshot of the playlist with no deleted songs and another screenshot of the playing songs showing the deleted songs
Here is a screenshot of a deleted song playing when I tried to play a different song near where the deleted song was in the list.
@Hightower573 I moved your post over to the Android space.
I recommend running through the following troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve this: Troubleshooting for Android Devices

I tried all of the troubleshooting steps, and I was eventually able to resolve the issue. After clearing the cache the first time, all of the deleted songs returned. I deleted the songs again, cleared the cache, and all of the songs except one returned. Basically, I had to clear the cache after deleting each song to keep them from returning. So far, the deleted songs have not returned.
Thanks for following up, @Hightower573.
I'd like to share your feedback with our engineering team so they can further investigate.

My apologies for the delayed response. Here is the info you requested.
Moto G Power
Verizon
Android version 10
Pandora version 2102.1.1 (android-tuner 21021102)
Connected to WiFi
FYI, this phone is relatively new, less than 2 months old. My previous phone, Samsung Galaxy S7, had the same issue. Also, my WiFi is pretty good (100 mbps up and down), and I have not experienced any connectivity or lag issues as of late.
