Who else is having trouble with Pandora on Android?

Works great on the iPad but on my phone it keeps turning off the music and pauses if the screen goes out I have to keep the screen lit I checked all the settings were in the right place but still not working rightSent from Yahoo Mail for iPad

Hi @Tim164 

Based on your description, it sounds like your phone may have a battery optimization or battery savings settings enabled. These types of settings may cause performance issues or interfere with playback when your phone is locked and the app is in the background.

Please try these general steps to see if they help.

  • Open your device Settings and then Apps.
  • Scroll to find Pandora or use Search in the upper right hand corner.
  • Select Battery
  • Next select Unrestricted.

Unfortunately, due to the numerous models of Android devices, we are unable to provide step by step instructions for every device. If the above steps don't apply please reference the owner's manual for your specific device for steps to manage battery saving or optimization for your device.
