Same issue here... S23 Ultra and Galaxy Watch Ultra. Worked fine on Galaxy Watch 5 Pro which I traded in for the Watch Ultra. I should have waited, skipping or replaying is definitely a feature I used a lot from my watch while listening to Pandora on my phone.

Pandora Update - 12/23/24:
Hi everyone,
To help clear up any confusion we've updated our support path.
Standalone Wear OS App
The stand alone Wear OS app that doesn’t require a Bluetooth connection or mobile device is no longer supported and is not available for download on the Google Play Store. If you’ve previously installed it on your watch, you will still have access, but its performance may be unpredictable and you may find that it does not function as well as other devices.
++
Galaxy Watch + Bluetooth Connection
If you're connected to your Galaxy watch with a Bluetooth connection which requires your mobile device, and are having trouble skipping songs, please try the following support steps below to see if they will help.
From your Android Settings, please try clearing the Pandora app data using the following steps:
Please note: You will be asked to log into your account after completing these steps. If you're a Premium or Premium Family listener, you may need to re-download some of your offline content after this. Plus listeners should receive their offline content again automatically.
Once you're signed back in, please try re-pairing your connection with your watch.
To remove the pairing, please go into the Bluetooth settings menu on your phone, find the appropriate connection, and select "Forget this device."
Once you've done so, reconnect your watch to your phone. For specific steps, please refer to the owner's manual for your watch to reconnect to your phone.
S24 Ultra and watch ultra. Skip buttons on watch are greyed out and non-functional. Really want that feature back!!!
I can see the stellar support here. Same issue. Galaxy Watch 5 pro and S24 Ultra and back and forward skips are greyed out.
Same situation i have the watch ultra 7 and it was working then out of no where greyed out buttons. Only the play pause works. On wear os 5.0. I read in another statement elsewhere that pandora does not support wear os 3. Im like now what. This is so freaking annoying
Fold 6 and watch ultra. Same issue. When are they gonna fix this smh.....

Wear os 6 update cant skip songs on watch
After the new wear OS 6 update now skip controls for pandora no longer work on my watch. I can still skip tracks on other media players from my watch.
Samsung Galaxy Watch: Unable to Skip with New OS wear update done today
Samsung did a new update today I think wear os ver 5? Pandora was working fine before but now the SKIP button on the watch is greyed out. I can pause, adjust volume but not skip. Other media apps work just fine its just Pandora on the watch having a problem

So, moving forward, is the only solution available to move to a different streaming service ?
I don't have pandora installed on my galaxy watch, just on my android phone, and the watch still does not allow skipping functionality. All my other apps are still able to skip via the watches media controller except pandora
I am writing to express my frustration with the ongoing issue regarding playback controls on Samsung smartwatches running Wear OS. For months, this feature has been unreliable, which severely limits the functionality of your app for users like myself who rely on their smartwatches for seamless music control while on the go.
The lack of proper support for playback controls on Samsung watches is unacceptable. It’s not just an inconvenience; it undermines the entire experience for users who expect a smooth and integrated service across all platforms. Until this issue is resolved, I, along with many others, will be forced to boycott Pandora and explore alternatives that provide a consistent experience on Wear OS.
I urge you to prioritize fixing this issue. As a loyal user of Pandora for many years, I hope to see it improve so that we can enjoy music without frustrating limitations on our devices.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
I'm extremely frustrated. I've been a premium user for years and now this feature just disappeared. The skip buttons are grayed out. Your telling us that the solution is to no longer be a customer? That's great customer service. Ignor your customers and they'll go away....
wow......just...wow. So you just don't SUPPORT the entire Android community with galaxy watches...
Guess I no longer need to "support" Pandora...and as others mentioned above...I don;t use the app on the watch..its on the phone and just use ...well USED to use the watch to skip back and forth...
guess time to can the pandora premium...unbelievable.
yep same as u. Seems clear time to move away from pandora ... what an un-customer service friendly response they gave. Well SPOTIFY works just fine..

Hi,
Looooong time listener, first time commenter (only because this issue has just snowballed in my life. y'all - don't reset your watches. it won't help, found out the hard way)
This is an absolutely trash situation.
I love Pandora. I've defended it countless times over arguments and disagreements when people have said, "why don't you use Spotify?" like hello, it's Pandora, it's amazing. but now... oh man.. where's the support on Pandora's end for their listeners that listen via Samsung products?
and FYI to the mod that keeps saying something about an app download to our watches --- listen honey, that's literally not a thing anymore and hasn't been for a long time now, again, thanks to Pandora's support. that is not useful in this day and age. we can/could only connect to the app via Bluetooth from our devices.
Look, all we want is support/ samsung representation and to be able to hit the **ahem** skip button again and go about our music-listening-business.
As more and more people will start suddenly searching for answers to why their Pandora's phone app isn't working on their watch, more and more people are going to see what we all are starting to see more clearly: Pandora doesn't give a poopookaka about samsung users and it shows 🫠
this is a dark time for us all.
Long time user that just got a galaxy watch ultra.
The media controller app, which is not the Pandora app, worked fine on my previous galaxy watch 3. The media controller app on the ultra will only allow me to pause/unpause. I no longer can skip the playing track.
Samsung's media player functionality works fine on every other media app I have tested, including spotify, YouTube music, etc. Just your app seems to no longer work as intended. The forward / reverse skip buttons are grayed out.
Now this is not me trying to get Pandora on my watch, as Pandoa on the watch hasn't been an option for years, since you killed that feature off. This is basic media player controls that are failing to work, only in your app.
I've been a subscriber to premium for years, and even after multiple issues have stuck by. But this is getting old with the bugs and fixes taking several months to finally be acknowledged. I will take my money elsewhere if this is not resolved.
The Galaxy Watch + Bluetooth Connection solution you have provided does NOT fix the inability to skip issue that still exists.
Please provide us a fix for this asap.
Again, I do not have the pandora app installed on my watch, just using the android app on my cell phone.

@Sportster64 I'd like to report your issue to our engineering team. Can you send over a bit more info about your device?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
Have you identified any other patterns or notable information?
Let me know what you can find out.
yep galaxy s25 ultra...NO app on watch...simply using it ( or used to ) to skip songs...have not had an actual pandora app installed on the watch...ever. ONLY on the phone. All other services work great...just pandora. My premium runs out at end of month..if not fixed I wont renew and will simply switch to spotify...which works just fine
I was thinking it was just me because I have an older galaxy phone, but this proves it is happening on newer phones as well
yep not just you Ive their latest and greatest and same thing. def an issue on Pandora's side
The solution you have provided simply does not work. Will not be renewing premium. Your customer service is a joke. Good job alienating long time customers.
